  1. JUN and TRUST same item....
  2. The new MAHLE SR piston set rocked up yesterday and they have addressed the clearnace issues.... killer pistons, much better than the %^ pistions every one seems to like using ATM in their RB's.
  3. The V500 is worlds better than the V4, i do ALOT of Wolfs now, i reckon you could get about 500-650 for the V4..... seems to be the going rate.
  4. True but VI-Pec is just a rebadged LINK.
  5. HAHAHA how can you even compare the two... one is a calculator and one is an ECU.
  6. Melbourne is shite, send it to GCG in sydney.
  7. Isnt NITTO CRD's home band?
  8. hmmm mine (26) are incoming too, gonna have a play. Hope they fit better than the SR ones i got sen for a customers SR.... had to notch em for the oil squirters NOT FKN HAPPY worlds dearest pistons (if time was money) .
  9. if you want coatings buy pistons done from the manufacturer like MAHLE etc... far more reliable and easier to control clearances.
  10. as far as the dyno goes, simple fact. Latest DYNAPACK... dyno industry leader, just look who else is happy to pay ALOT more for a decent dyno than the run-o-mill dyno dynamics Tuning houses; HKS, NISMO, APEXI, PWR, DCPORTS, TRD, WALKINSHAW, HARROP..... Manufacturers; FORD, GM, LOCKHEED MARTIN, SUBARU, MITSUBISHI etc.... all use DYNAPACK. We do alot of product tesing for various manufacturers and after using all the differrent local dynos like MAINLINE, DTS, DDYNAMICS we found one clear leader in accuracy and more importantly repeatability.
  11. I would probably look at finding the current drain, i have had cars sitting for weeks (inc R34's) without draining the battery. look at your alarm system. That setup is great and we use it on the 'classic' cars that only see the light of day 2 or 3 times a year. say hi to rob and danz from trent
  12. yup via the option 1 yellow plug.
  13. All that matters is that i have been dealing directley with TRUST japan for close to 6 years, all orders up untill yesterday, now and pending are all being honored and honestley they are trading like business is usual in fact i have about 6k in parts leaving anyday.... and other orders for parts have been despatched over the past few days like nothing even happened.... Both Trust japan and Greddy Oceania were at my workshop last week discussing future bussiness, so at this stage i would not panic. Trust Japan has released a blog post and update on the official website in response to the incorrect bankruptcy news yesterday. "In the response Trust sincerely apologised for the concern and impact of the news, but confirmed that proceedings are underway under the Japanese Civic Rehabilitation Law. As previously reported, Trust assured that there will be no impact to part availability or development in the forseeable future. Trust organised events in Japan will continue on schedule and the company pleaded for continual customer loyalty and confidence. We are happy to report this news and provide confidence for the purchase of Greddy products. In fact, in this troubled time purchasing Greddy products may prevent any future hard times for one of the largest companies in the Japanese industry"

  15. to be honest even i would not charge less than 800.... even then there is no way im gonna tune it for 250..... id probaly qoute $1200 (with PFC tune) drive in drive out.... my tuning alone is worth $550 and up on a setup like that especially considering i have more work than time.... all work is done on probably the best dyno in Vic.
  16. The only way to really adjust it correctley (as 99% of wheelaligners have no idea) is to do it yourself on a decent machine with the coil-overs removed, sit the car at its normal ride height (on jacks, with chocks under wheels to achieve correct ride height) and move the wheel through its bump and droop arc, watch the toe and adjust the arms to the postion which gives you the closest to std ride height readings. Tedious to adjust but well worth it (f your need it in the first place), i hate bushes and would rather a little more harshness through some decent QA1 rose joints or similar. But i do agree that many cars i see have 100% wrongly setup arms and alignment.
  17. yup, finished tuning a R34 auto the other week making 270rwkw with the ultimate.
  18. yeah its buddy club.
  19. Fairly small its only a K5-660R with a #7 housing which is very restrictive, will play with the #9 later this year which should see 400rwkw for calder drag nights..
  20. i was quite suprised by the new greddy procams i fitted to the drift car i wanted something fairly small so went 264 duration with only 9.7mm lift and a fairly tight 110 lobe separation (stock base circle too) peak torque of 537nm @ 4600
  21. Yeah i do remaps for the Rb20 for $700 drive in drive out. $950 is a bit rich. Should be an easy setup considering your mods, im not a fan of the hypergear stuff but maybe they have got them sorted now. oh yeah regardless of where you take it save your money and take abu's advice and forget the FPR.
  22. no stress got your message, if it doesnt sell this week i will be happy to split as i am doing a late model turbo prelude the ultimate would be perfect for.
