  1. yeah they work 1000% better than oem.... its the main reason the japs dont use hydraulic handbrakes... the uras and kazama shoes are the best solution. when you consider the cost of a hydraulic handbrake and a set of shoes that do the same job.... they start to look very cheap
  2. im talking low to mid (75-108k's) to be exact... you could lean on yours at least a ratio in those initial dips safely.... as im guessing the a/fs are taken from the tailpipe and not the dump.. ^^^ that there is gospel...
  3. or access in mulgrave have them in stock as well as full modified sumps ask for steve top bloke and im surehe will get you headed in the right direction. http://www.accessauto.com.au/
  4. i will link some big pics mark sent me once it was painted. i had the pleasure of driving this beast at a comp in sa and it was wild... i was hell scared of bending it so i was a pussy.... but hell it was fun. http://i188.photobucket.com/albums/z46/URA...oldpaint006.jpg
  5. the original video that started the phenomenon these are the adelaide days i reminiss about and pine for...
  6. if they last drifting....with over 300rwkw they should be fine in yours. i have broken one and it was unis.... cat forgot to mention the vibration to me... that shaft had done 4years of drift and was untouched from new.
  7. dont feel too bad most of the stoker kits (and cams for that matter) come from the same factory in asia. saw quite a few eye rasiers whilst over there. greddy had their prototype 4.2l kit in this at autosalon this year but i dont think it was listed as i was talking to them prior and it was still hush hush.
  8. even if that is true..... WTF would posses someone to use EMS?? id rather stick a stromberg on it
  9. unfortunately they are expensive $3ish k and in todays world of chinese shit and garret over hype tend never to get a second look, if i had not been offered such a killer deal on it i would never have been able to afford it either, The BLITZ turbos are very unique and use Turbonetics compressors and special front covers based on K27 housings... luckily the rear housings are the same as K27 3 series otherwise they would be even dearer than the KKK $1000 asking price i currently have a #9 and a #7 housing to test. we will see what happens next week, a day at calder to tune it then a few runs on the dyno to play with a few things.
  10. well the T67 with the 8cm kills it down low and makes top end similar to the bigger garret .8 (within 10rwkw) at the same boost, we will change JT's rear housing to a 10cm and do a direct comparo to the .8 as housings are almost identical.... im guessing still better response and top end is unknown... i would hate to speculate. i will post the graph of the 8cm vs the .8 soon as he send it to me... asked him again 5mins ago i nearly ordered a 10cm T67 kit for the 26 instead of the K5.... Dont be too quick to get rid of the GT35 they are a great value for money turbo. The cost of changing over is quite a lot, it is only really worth doing it from the start... you will need different manifold etc....
  11. depending on application you can get ones that move the rack closer to the x-member to stop over extension of the arms during drift etc.. uras do them as do a few other manufacturers... the Drift Motorsport ones are excellent value... but im suprised they dont fit ^^^
  12. we will see, i really want to plot the results versus the T78, 2860's and T517z i have used in the past.
  13. alot They are t3 flanged and cost around 298000 yen or around $3150.... but wen you find out what is behind making a BLITZ turbo you can appreciate the costs involved. The compressor wheels are not KKK and are fitted by BLITZ R&D and the housings are heavily modified from KKK original specs. It is something that is designed and researched in house and after using a few im quite impressed by how good they actually are. Originally i used the BLITZ turbo's on my 180 i was unhappy with the HKS 3037s (killer but too big for the application back then) and had replaced it with a hks 2835 (0.61 52t) and the guys at blitz said if i dont match the horsepower and better the resonse of the 2835 they would refund the purchase.... needless to say i did it and lost the bet... they were right.
  14. decent alignment that takes into account dynamic movement. Reduce unwanted dynamic alignment changes by replacing rear control arm bushes and securing cradle.
  15. i would replace them, if you drift fit uras or kazama shoes if not std are cheap and easy to get. send me your addy and i will send you the missing parts
  16. ^^^ i wish i knew abit more about the Z"s... the deepest ive gone is fitting twin turbo PWR enterprise kits, superchargers and emanage ultimates.. which any monkey can do really... i have never done any real hard core work like engine builds or engine swaps. My familiarity on M35 awd systems is almost zero too so i cant offer any advice in regards to those
  17. Well put ^^^
  18. FUTUREWA its fine do not stress MAFIA your is way to rich especially in the mid range
  19. has it got fluid best fix is to fit a cooler (about 100 in parts all up) as it cools for one and increases the fluid capacity.
  20. bugger was hell cheap
  21. trouble? the cd is self installing, what is it doing? all the pics you need are in the manual, warning though if your not a competant installer (ie Excellent solder joints and understanding of elect diagrams) DO NOT attempt to install it yourself. i know that may sound harsh but 99% of the times i get called to fix an emanage it is because of owner install mistakes.... for your sake i hope your the 1% and i am happy to help... we can all be happy
  22. are all the cam caps still off the original head?
  23. if it aint sold, pm me. i take it.
