  1. yeah some tuners forget to compensate for one important force acting on a car on the road........ wind resistance.... gaurantee that in 4th and 5th flt out there is too much timing on the ramp.
  2. i use the HELLA led flat round ones they flush mount and look better than factory.
  3. Haha the thing needed more tire the more grip the better for dorri... unless your a newb.
  4. whatever you do dont blend them in it looks hell ghey. Tokage i think has similar items here for sale. Ifyou get stuck i can bring some in they are quite cheap.
  5. i would check valve timing if it all ran before you pulled the head.
  6. why try something that has zero chance of working... it is just a simple signal modifier.
  7. bigger than 44mm. Blitz 56mm Trust 55mm (type R or C) Tial 60mm or if your on a budget and dont mind finding room for a unnecessarily big bodied gate use a 50mm turbosmart.
  8. better off burning your money. waste less time.
  9. just making 100% sure that the fuel line from the filter is going to the fuel inlet (not the line connected to the fpr) and the return line to tank is connected to fpr.... your symptoms still sound like lines are mixed up.
  10. yeah unfortunately you guys in my experience are among the minority.... i have been looking around in melb and i reckon only about 5% of the ones ive visited are using the latest type gear. I used to work with Chris Parnell years ago at Rex Gorell and i see his company now distributes the PRINS gear which is what i wanted fitted to the Patrol... it currentley has the old 425 impco mixer on it and that was the gear i was using 15 years ago the work ute had a nice PRINS direct gas injector setup on it but it was hard finding someone to do it.... maybe i was just visiting the wrong places and combined with what Pro-fire told me came to the wrong conclusion. just another quick one... how long did it take to get your LPG installer license? ive got alot of free time lately and would not mind doing it just to add to the wall collection.
  11. there were quite a few new RB20 plenums at TAs this year but cost the same as the average R32 in japan... about 2k
  12. ummm in my experience R34 is easier than R32..... S13-R32 str8 swap S15-R33/R34 st8 swap combining the two ie R32 into s15 streches the bushes and usually ends in a skewing cradle (crabbing car) after awhile. We run R34 GTR in the S13. and fitting the GT-r cradle wont fix your over tracked rear end..... as i assume they are worried about the track change more than anything. If you truly are being hassled for axle loading then yes it may be easier to get through with a GTR rear due to the higher factory load rating. remmebr though you will also need new rear coil over bases as the lower mount is fork not eye.
  13. pffft k sports junk.
  14. definatley not discontinued. 140 AA A UTQG
  15. i would defnately keep an eye on profire, gasresearch was good 10 years ago but very long in the tooth now especially when compared with the current direct injection stuff parnell now distributes (prins etc). i was corresponding via email with profire awhile ago and it seems there is a few issues marketing the system to the market (shame)... they can sell the ecu (in theory) etc no dramas but the high pressure side of things is illegal for anyone but a licensed gas fitter to fit... same with all brands actually. The real drama is that 99% of the gas fitters are old skool and still use mixers and cant get there heads around tuning an ECU and all the guys who CAN tune the ECU cant fit the lpg kits.... quite a large dilema... once our workshop is opened here at the end of march i hope to try one of their ECU's on our tow mule (TB45 patrol) it will soon have a t78 strapped to the side of it and the thought of having full control over the gas is very appealing.... im pretty sure there is nothing stopping anyone from using any ecu but the profire one has a few nice gas only features like tank pressure compensation etc.. lpg is cool if you have the room to sacrifice for a tank... but in your case fiting the tank under the car is the perfect solution. I did a similar straight gas setup and tank (drop tank style) in my old VH SLE many years ago much to the digust of the law and gas fiters back then... it was deemed dangerous as it was located in an impact zone.... what are the legalities now? i now AU wagons and stuff are all fitted in that area.
  16. i would love to but this is the down payment on our dynapack... opening a work shop is consuming all our toys just for interest sake the car now has a fully tuned PowerFC installed so the car can be bought with either emanage (with interactive profec) or with the powerfc.
  17. the pinout on the auto NEo NA R34 (converted to turbo by bolt-ons) was nearly spot on but all the turbo ancillaries are not in the loom. i would personally swap ecu looms or just convert the NA to turbo.... the one we did used HKS gtrs and made 240rwkw on crazy low boost.
  18. does it double again from 3000-6000rpm? ie is it 40deg at 6000rpm?
  19. remmeber it is the same as S13 so try this old link of mine. http://www.nissansilvia.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=38124
  20. a search in here will reveal all try D2 as they are the same thing.
  21. skylines and 1.1mm gap FTL............. 0.7mm - 0.8mm FTW.... everytime.
  22. haha yeah but remmeber you would be in a 31....(hides from wheezy)..... 1.5bar and 4000rpm aint exactly anything to write home about... from all i know (very little) about the GTS-r (std rated 210 but actually closer to 260) is that 300hp is around the limit and anything above that requires alot of work including high flowing the turbo to GRP A specs, cams and the rods and pistons are known to be the limiting factor also. 260rwkw plus is well beyond what i have ever seen qouted with 220-240rwkw being the norm... even from R31 house in japan.
  23. yep aftermarket sizes (std, 20, 30 etc) are one size fits all.... i used to keep about 4 or five sets (most rbs and sr's) and trial fit a few from differrent batches to get the best result, but bearings are getting better though.... more importantly so are the machinists
  24. i have the f-con tuning gear coming in time for the workshop opening at the end of march..... if your still looking for a tune let me know.
