  1. Been using supersparks for a while now (4-6months or so in a few cars) and helped with the testing, so far ive had no failures and can honestley say i am happy to use them in my own cars. did back to back with the split fires, FET, superspark in the 26 and honestley say they all pulled within a kw or so of each other (all mid 350rwkw's) so they can happily pull mild numbers. But if you think you are going to gain power from coils you are sadly mistaken, if the std coils are not doing their job then YES you will see an increase but i guarantee if you whack in a nice NEW set of NISSAN coils you will match power with your splitfires and so forth... problem is std nissan coils are as dear as poison and it is simply easier and cheaper to use aftermarket.
  2. may fitters are newbs.... so are they talking about front or rear? rear cradles are notorious for bending after hitting gutters front K-frames are rarely damaged... they can however move slighlty and need re-alinging
  3. yeah there seems to be a period when arias upgraded the rings, it must have snuck through some how.
  4. ok the first one is utter shit and gives zero incerease anywhere, the second ones design is killer and is based one the HPI one.... i know i helped to develop them. the HPI and similar manifolds were originally developed by myself, EVAN and finally built by GIZZMO NZ the prototypes were then sent off to ********* factory to be manufactured..... a month later it was available ex HPI who just happens to use the same supplier.... it has now been copied by at least 4 other factories in taiwan and china. as for performance there was no drawbacks and a clear increase accross the board (all original testing done with std turbo).... it took four prototypes to get right and many months of work on a dynapack to compare designs. NO other local manufactured manifold can compete with that (HPI) design for response or power and factory turbo placement so all your normal dumps and front fit without modification..
  5. why do people still use these shitters
  6. Use these FLEX-A-LITE fans from Hardiman in nsw (autobarn/repco also supply) http://www.flex-a-lite.com/auto/html/low-p...e-electric.html combne it with the drift digital radiator controller and you can set the on temps with an in cabin digital display and overtemp warn etc ( only $169) i use this on setup cats and it is the only fan setup that i have found that can handle drift comfortably, i tried davies craig and ice but niether cut it. The beauty of these fans is that the harbonic balancer sits right between the two fans... close but not touching and it seals around the radiator perfectley with a nice rubber seal, (nearly the exact size of the whole radiator) Gearbox mount : use sr20 manual xmember with extensions bolted on. Use decent grade flat bar see atached pic.
  7. JMS in SA have about the only streetable twin high mount for sale that i would probably consider using (for 370rwkw anyway) it is a twin TD05 kit (similar to T517Z and GT-RS sizewize) twin gates etc...
  8. part number 26027 instock at Auto Concepts in VIC (New AUS BLITZ Distributor.... huge range in stock) if you get stuck
  9. they are general performance orientated really, kinda halfway between a tranpath and a tpg i suppose you could call it. I really like the tpg on skylines... good all round budget performer.... The cru:z is a bit average in the wet yeah from what ive been told? how do you find them? i liked the japanese TOYO VIMODE or the local TPG's the best, the proxes 4 are killer but the tPG offers less squirm.
  10. or go the 1.2mm if you need to skim the head. On advice from ABE (nomura-ken BLITZ R34 engineer) for our setup mid 300rwkw RB26 1.2mm is best comprimise.
  11. i bought our 26 front cut from burge at type M, he was by FAR the best value ie best $$$ per KM, Dom at holfords is also very good as is Tyrone from desilvia.
  12. we use kings in braeside for storing all the uras gear, they often have monthly specials. its a long way out but it was cheap and extremely secure (live in guard)
  13. adjust the idle bypas valve out a bit
  14. has the head been off? cambelt changed? without having a good think 180 degrees out rings bells but it is late...
  15. most ive seen can be traced back to the build more so than the block itself...... at 350kw it should last a long time... but push it for a long time at say 380-400+ then i would be nervous. Both blitz and trust set their limits on the std block at just shy of 400 when i asked them many moons ago..
  16. Luckily with PFC we can adjust the voltage offset tables so you can actually run any AFM or MAP you like.
  17. ^^^ what???? std block is fine for 350awkw.
  18. yeah but you have to comprimise i did my first 180 that way, HKS 3037 with std s13 afm.... the flatline needs to be power robbing rich for everything but full boost full load. It works but its messy and far from ideal.
  19. Fitted new boost controller today it is a PROFEC E-01 that i had sitting in the study so it now has full control of emanage and boost.
  20. how much power are you making? mid 400rwkw (600whp) is possible with the above AFM's
  21. you need another link box as that is the genuine APEXI version and that model only suits the following models (same as early fc datalogit); Nissan 414-N010 BNR34 414-N011 GTR33 414-N012 ECR33 414-N013 S14(1) 414-N014 SR2014 414-N015 SR2015 414-N016 SR2016 414-N017 SR2017 414-N018 SR2018 414-N019 SR2D19 414-N020 SR2D20 414-N021 SR2D21 414-N023 SR2D23 414-N024 SR2D24 414-N025 BNR34D 414-N026 GTR33D 414-N028 BNR34L 414-N029 GTR33L Subaru 414-F003 GC8F 414-F005 GC8DL Toyota 414-T006 SXE10 414-T007 ZT231 414-T008 ZW30 414-T009 J100A 414-T010 SXE10T 414-T011 J100M 414-T012 ZW30T 414-T013 SX10A 414-T014 SX10TA Mazda 414-Z004 FD3S4 414-Z005 FD3S5 414-Z006 FD3S6 Honda 414-H003 AH03 414-H004 AH04 Mitsubishi 414-M001 CP9A6 414-M002 CP9A5 414-M003 EVO6D 414-M005 EVO5D 414-M007 CT9A7 414-M008 EVO7D 414-M902 D32AL 414-M905 D32AD 414-M907 CT9AL 414-M908 CT9AD
  22. Trust me they are there i (up until i resigned on the 21st) ran TRUST and BLITZ ect and all the performance parts at autobarn HO i bought in 12 and sold two that leaves 10 more in stock 100% guranteed.
  23. that is the shit. Camaro and challengers FTW oh and black trans am's....smokey and the bandit stylez.
  24. done it on every engine i build.. yes as these are mild cams. On big v8's i tend to fit soft springs then fit the hard springs once the engine has done about an hour or two of running, but i still run in the cam the same time as the rest.
  25. that is killer, awesome colour... just loose the gay bonnet sticker
