  1. exactly, if you dont want to put up a fight then go the blitz, if not go the greddy. If you do it neat enough most dont pick up on it but the decision is yours.... just dont modify the greddy one... its a waste of time.
  2. what did you use on the rings etc? best lube for breakin is wd-40 on the rings.
  3. ^^^ good call, with your setup ADz you should see reasonable power as it is with a decent tune.
  4. Dont Forget the new GREDDY easy cams, direct fit, supplied as a matched pair with all the centreline checked so that they (in most cases dont need dialing in) , cheap and all have new profiles ground off a brand new machine. 256 9.1mm lift or 264 9.1mm lift available. http://www.trust-power.com/spec_swf/05engi...mshaft_easy.swf
  5. huh? why not.....i think your confused.... it is part of the breakin.... wont hurt anything. Been building engines for nearly 18 years now.
  6. FC datalogit should work fine with any PFC, i havent had one it wont read yet.... unless it it is the old white box, there are two versions and one does upto r33 (all GTR's though) and the other does r34 GTT and TOYOTA. If your in melb and stuck i can tune it for you. old version new one is the same but black. i see you said it works on R33gtr if it is the white one it wonk work on any R34GTT FC. if it is the genuine apex pro software you will have the same drama. you have the wrong harware your PFC will be fine guaranteed.
  7. the rb20 requires more swaps, but all ultimates have the instructions in them and the wiring diagram is idiot proof so just compare RB20 to the loom you are buying in the manual.
  8. ^^ will have mine setup for a Feb opening, just waiting on dyno and to finalise some things at the toko autosalon. sorry Pear i missed your pm, feel free to send you message through to [email protected] but im away from the 10th
  9. i like to coat all cams with moly and do the 10-15 min run-in cycle regardless of the claimed hardening process.... never fit cams dry regardless.
  10. obviously you havent used one enough
  11. shit sell it if your going the re-route option, not gonna work nicely. Get the BLITZ LM. otherwise cut the hole, i put my s13 through dandy with a hole through the battery tray. it is not structural and after a blue with the officer they rang one of thier approved inpsectors and he said the same thing... so long story short i got through. Your even luckier with a skyline as the hole is in the same place as GTR's.
  12. dyno dynamics are ok but if your serious there is only one dyno and that is DYNAPACK..... far less hollywood, far more accurate and repeatable (especially at the kinda power you are talking 800hp and up) and no harder/longer to setup than a roller. fkn sweet cars BTW i would love to drive that twin turboed bimmer.
  13. ^^^ yeah if that dont work give it a 2000 and a good buff.... like new.
  14. 230-240rwkw with the 550cc's NISMO injectors and threw in some SUPERSPARK coils for good measure.
  15. no i reckon a GT35R .6 will support around 400rwhp.... the plenums are good for at least double that.
  16. should be more than half that! i paid 1/3rd that
  17. as for power i reckon closer to 400whp. std diff will be fine (just shim it or put a centre in it)... alot of hype up there for nothing..... we broke one diff in 3 years. i will post you a link for the plenum, i have done a few just use the R33 one it bolts straight up just a few small things need changing accessory wise. piece of piss. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/In...4+plenum+greddy
  18. how much pm me
  19. yeah exactly crystal supplies most of SAU's big grey importers (greddy, blitz, hks, etc) .... hardly rice
  20. 500whp (370ish rwkw) with a 62 rear is a pipe dream but very Nice streeter setup none the less. and the 38m gate is to small for anything over 400whp really. R34 with the right setup is sweet for drift, a little big but stable as and far less work than a 32 or s13 chassis.
  21. depends on the turbo.
  22. well done simon, you were on fire and no-one but our jap counterpart came close to you all day.
  23. Cool, i resigned from HO a fortnight ago but deal direct with the jap majors (workshop and dyno in feb etc) now so any dramas let me know.
