  4. to remove oil mist from your inlet charge, therefore maintianing burn effeciency and power.
  5. the EMU has cold start and temperature dependant fuel and IGN maps in it it should only be a matter of fine tuning them to fix your issues.
  6. they are not a good option unless you do a lot of work, flow bench testing shows major flow issues.
  7. ah sweet, well done to adam. i heard a GTR (RH9) car made over 600? funny how things get skewed. i went the last two years and was dissapointed but i thought maybe this year we would put a trade stand in ( i figured as the magazine and drift project was a great sucess that it would drive more traffic) and i just plain forgot it was on.... lucky. If it was as quiet as you say i think i will give it a miss from now on then. shame really as i remmeber being heavily involved in SA back 2000-2003 and it was always packed.

  9. yeah -10 feed -8 return. No benefit on a GTS-T. in fact i hate aftermarket regs on any gtst under 350rwkw aswell, id rather customers but the money they used on the reg on a better pump as the std reg is killer.
  10. What were the vic dyno results for this year? who holds bragging rights? that 4dor is very sexual i rikey. ps what was the walk through compared to last year? is worth going to or is it still shrinking?
  11. i converted the supra below to a returnless rail.... not cause i wanted to though but because i had to due to the -10 lines and aeromotive gear no advantage just more work. the r33 system works well up to 380odd kw the GTT is another issue and can sometimes cause dramas.
  12. Trust do do packages GREX alcon (obviously AlCON sourced caliper based solution) and GREX (internally developed 'budget' brake program with another supplier, not alcon)

Do you tune for a living DANGERMAN4?? we are not talking martins tunes alone here, it just happens to be one of his... many top level tuners delve far leaner than 12 and 12.5. look at le mans cars etc i also plainly said on cusomers cars they will get the plain jane tune, mates though always get the more agressive tunes as thier cars are well know by me therefore i am more able to exploit them safely..... never ever lost or hurt an engine.
  15. i use the ORC carbon clutches and find them awesome... we did destroy one but we will put that down to driver error the normal type clutches last longer in drift applications we found butthe carbon has better feel. the carbon clutches in normal operation should last longer though.

  17. i think it is just another junk ebay turbo by the looks of it..... maybe worth it if you need to get your car running.... i wouldnt bother especially as you hav already had one dodgy turbo let go....time to bite the bullet and get something decent?......but hey who cares what i think
  18. for a general customer no, for a good mate with a known setup.... quite often many RB26 tuners swear by the 12.0-12.2ish rule a good example is page 94 of the current HOT4S mag (diatribe i know) well know and respected tuning house willall racing has a dyno graph up with one of martins tunes featured running 12.2ish on a 300rwkw GTR
  19. got a trust one with cooler piping going cheap if you get stuck. see turbo link in my sig.
  20. that is usually the lag correction playing funny buggers, remove it like described above.
  21. they are quite simply the best front and dump combination available for power extraction (up to 470+rwkw with T618z in the past), i have used them alot and they work better than both HKS and TOMEI equivalents... there are a few tricks to living with them but the results are well worth it.

  24. rocket and VPW keep the full range of replacement rose joints, i have a set of JJR ones in cats car but with QA1 ends as the originals lasted about 2 event's before gettng sloppy. I ran ikeya formula rod ends on my 180 with no dramas for 3 years....
