  1. autoglym bug and tar and OOMPH work killer and wont damage trims.
  2. yes, worst case you wil need to swap bellhousings if one is push and the other is pull type.

  4. T28 flange non internal gate are they ones i have at home... IW is gay:P old pic of car with real gay autosalon winning clown paint and 3037s.... tried 2 housings on the rear with the 3037s and then swapped it out for a 2835 and tried two housings on it. and yeah i agree totally about how poorly matched the t28 versions are of garrets gt30's. as far as the HKS inlet sleeve goes i cant see it being as important as the rear, the results i have experienced on my own car show that upgrading the rear housing on a sr is indeed money well spent i would assume the same for a rb20 as for RB25 i cant comment as i havent done the practicle exercise.
  5. dont think that the HKS housings are the same as the garret ones... they adefinately arent. i have a box of hks 2835 rears and some 3037s one from my old 180 when i was mixing and matching that i will hold onto till i need them.

  7. before head and butterflies or between plenum and butterflies? it should be between head and throttle plates as shown in install manual.
  8. where is the pressure source taken from? i have had issue's when not taking the source from the actual throttle bodys (bit of a pain but worth the effort)... hooking up to the balance bar tends to cause a few issues.

  10. yeah, we have had a few rb25 with "soft" springs float quite badly, from memory those cams are not supposed to be used with STD springs and hyd lash adjusters either... im sure they are solid only i would be looking at the profiles to see if they are damaged due to bind or excessive float. Who fitted them????

  12. ^^^ yeah its a fun job. luckily after a few times you learn the tricks.... the first one i did back a the barn in SA took me a fair while and many skun fingers Cats car had the same issues, i had the lot hot tanked and re-assembled the lot using metal gaskets and hylomar spray..... fixed it beautifully. the setting precedure is 100% in the manual as i downloaded it off this forum if yuo give me your email i will send the pages through. edit: email sent as i cant upload PDF from here at work.
  13. cats car had no issues making over 300rwkw with it. The car now runs a tomei pump but the only reason i swapped the walbro out was because it was nearly 2 years old... i have no doubt it would have continued on no dramas
  14. i can name three people in the demographic you speak of who have under the table 10k desposits on new GTR.... all will be parked next to R34's or GT3's unfortunately the only exciting car i have a deposit on is a 2008 v8 turbo diesel landcruiser and it is not for me its getting exported back to its mother land for R&D as the only export em.

  17. see my above post and let me know how you go. i never had an issue with my RB26 but it had a 5000 odd serial number which i know far a fact had the injector adapter 15901506 in-built into the circuit board. That said usually nisssan are not a drama only toyota's ran rich but hey any thing is possible. Fact: SERIAL number 4000 onwards includes injector adapter 15901504. Version 2 update will allow you to datalog Knock, it is a upgrade not a board change so yes as long as your EMU is not a real early one knock will work. everyone should be running software UPDATE 2.13
  18. Hey you got stock injectors? try setting the inj lag times to zero and putting the injector size in the before and after setting boxes.
