PFC should have no issues in lambda mode, if someone reckons the pfc feedback is crap ask some of my E85 customers who are getting killer mileage... trust me it works better than many standalones in fact. There are some steadfast rules to making it all work and honestly most dont adhere to them so its all turns to shit. BTW all tuning must be done with feedback turned OFF.
  2. Ive been testing United E85 every day or two for the last 2 months and its been spot on, very consistent. United E85 is every bit as good as Drum.

  4. i Its your responsibility then if you find it failed due to one of either parties then you go to claim the damage. i had a poorly made sump destroy a 16k motor (my own motor) and all that i was compensated for was the sump... rest of the damage was on my own back to cover, its up to the end user to check to see if the product is fit to do the job. most claims wont cover consequential cost and damages.. i know this has changed recently though so its worth checking on.

  9. 10 - 15 mins is more than enough if done correctly.Now i dont know the whole story but one thing is for certain ZERO chance of it being the intake design, if its smoking out the catch can and a borescope shows damage then it has either had incorrect ring end gap and they have butted when its got hot or piston to bore clearance was too tight. Injector issues also factor in. BUT TBH the most common failure i see on new engines that are bought in for assessment are trigger offset angles in the ecu, many times the shop has set timing off the back timing loop instead of with a lead on number one cylinder this often makes the base timing way out (up to ten degrees) Ive had 2 haltechs in the last few months come from a particular tuner that had this done and irreversibly damaged big dollar engines. Another issue with rb's is a warped cas mount plate this can skew timing by around 15-20 degrees (had one as recent as yesterday). First thing to check is correct base timing via cylinder one not the loop. second thing is to pull it down and determine without doubt the cause. Once apart there is no way to sugar coat what has gone wrong... build ot tune... simple. Till then its all speculation and is not going to help anyone.
  10. We can confirm that PFC are definitely being re-run somewhere, new packaging and sporting a new firmware version. I have one here as we speak.. great news for skyline owners!! The lastest version is not yet supported by any PC software so we are currently going through the process (scan) of making it talk to the tuning suites, should be good to go in a few days.
  11. yeah 420-450 is where we see them taper off, we run 2 of the e85 ones in tank in the bigger gtr setups. this gives us 550awkw plus and are a near silent solution. BUT make sure you use the right pumps F90000262 pump 98 and F90000267 for E85 We have had the non e85 ones die when used in e85 over time

  13. I should add the injectors we tested above are NOT from our recommended supplier TUFFCARPARTS, we source our injectors from tuffcarparts.com.au (like the id1000s in my own car) and we are yet to have any problems. The dodgy injectors are from another injector supplier.

  18. Had a few questions regarding included parts. It has everything including collars and springs. There is a lot of mis information about these shifters, if set up right with the collars you will have no issues, can supply English instructions to purchaser. We have been using these sequential shifters for years, never damaged one box in all that time.
