  1. JT from autobarn Narre has a near new set of RE55's going pretty damn cheap.
  2. Like sand through the hour glass..... so are the days of our lives.
  3. NAh ^^ GTR is plug in (load RB26) and drive away
  4. PEII ($799 for R34 GTT any autobarn) is only cat back so has no association with front and dumps. Trust only make mild steel front pipes (tuned GTRfront/dump the exception) blitz make staino ones as do GKTECH, JJR etc ive noticed no differrence in power between the diffrrent styles (twin vs single) so choice is yours The main reason for twin front pipe was increased ground clearance..... this point seems to get lost in the translation nowadays.... (the HPI ones below are sweet fitting)
  5. differrent cradle, 2 bolt rear diff cover and large front hole in diff mounts. rear cover swap and some inserts will do the trick but the engineer might not like the inserts either S14 cradle has better geometry than early cradles too. not sure how it will go in a skyline though. I am measuring up the differrences in R32 and R33 cradles geometry atm (if any).
  6. no worries, i will take it. where are you located? can you pm workshop to me. i will keep it confidential. i just need a list of confident ultimate tuners and a list that could do with some training. I am currentley looking at bringing the TRUST engineers over for a training workshop much like the MOTEC ones. I am overwhelmed by the enquireies atm and cannot do my own work due to the amount of emanage enquiries. emanage sales in aus have quadrupled in the past month and ive been left holding the tech support bag.....
  7. it was just a FYI thread. all the ordered ones are for customers but if your keen send an email to [email protected]
  8. ^^^ HPI seem to sway people towards lots of stoopid shit i remmeber bringing in the first RX6 kit for RB25 many moons ago and coping heaps from everyone..... it was an animal.. so much so that the dude stacked it and the kit got fitted to the JMS red R33 (recently martini/ PPG drift car).... then it became one of the most recommended kits around..... funny how mag coverage can cause sensations.... now after much playing i reckon T67 8cm is the way to go on Rb25. On 26 i like my baby T517z's or single Td06sh-25g's and RX6, i have not had the pleasure of playing with the AX's.... people are just too tight nowadays
  9. yeah you are comparing cars not engines..... our s13 weighed 1100 with sr last year at EC.... and 1200 with rb... but the engine is not 100kg heavier. The CA cars do weigh less maily due to equipment not engines. Hicas / non hicas, sunroof etc all play a part.
  10. mate if i can lift one but not the other then they weigh differrent...... proof enough for me. (long bare engines, maybe loaded with access they are heavier) if anyone needs a newly built 300rwkw CA (long motor) i have a spare one... oh and a fully built SR filled with Trust cams, rods and pistons out of cats car (just had re-fresh) and a Forged (arias) SR20 also fresh.
  11. WTF?? it was an ultimate and they could not sort it???? maybe look for another tuner.... the ultimate will do that setup a piece of piss. what is the board code? (inside on the board, bottom right corner near loom plug) if it is a (E) i will buy it, i have a 33 to do on fri so it will save me pin swapping
  12. yeah it looks like you need to set your boost cut more carefully, is it the blue version? if it is the ultimate do NOT make any fule mixture adjustments in the AIR FLOW MAP use the INJECTOR MAP ONLY. With the blue it is best to only subtract in the afm table and do the additional in the injector map.
  13. the track issue is easily fixed, same as we do on S series chassis.... by fitting R33 lower control arms (among other things).
  14. Ordered a few for a customer, i love it! cept for the wheels.... i think the new URAS NS-02 will be fitted shortly
  15. decent plates under boot lid stop flex.
  16. lipping will get them to fit, any decent dude can do it. if your in vic try 180athid in ns.com he is killer.
  17. NOT exactly bolt on but i put together a kit for a guy in NSW last month. T67-8cm with manifold gate etc... over 213rwkw from 3000 and peaks at 270rwkw @ 17psi better all round HP and torque (up to 35-40kw down low) over the Garret GT35 that it replaced. if anyone went to DA round 3 at eastern creek it was the Yellow R34 in super drift putting on the biggest smoke show of all the cars there.... tuff setup... best R34 GTT RB25 setup i have ever driven actually. i will get his dyno graph to post up.... super responsive with decent top end. Not much more than 270 is possile with the 8cm rear though.... need to upgrade to 10cm to crack 300rwkw.
  18. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...=plenum+r34+gtt
  19. Nah sorry i build a few CA's and alot of Sr's. I dropped the latest CA build to Drift garage/UPgarage in nsw last week and i cannot lift the 'long' CA at all.... the SR on the other hand i can manouver around my workshop my self. the 26 in our s13 puts about 30-45kg more over the front axle.
  20. Morton and May in NSW are arguably the best in AUS, we tried nearly every one (3 or 4 in VIC and two in SA and QLD) we could find and they do the best job at the best price. Extensive in SA is also very good but they tend to only repair the easy ones (to near perfect mind you). Mortons are happier to take on the total loss damages
  21. haha not sure who you were watching....... we had super close battle against lindo in his R32.4.... only missed out by a few points.. Maybe because we choose not to smoke up the last corner during practice (to save tyres, as we used a few to many at wakefield on the friday) it looked that way, but during battles the car smoked the whole judged section no dramas.... all at 14.8 psi i kicked her ass for saving tires noise and smoke are more important.... so you will be seeing far less practice/conservation runs and more "real" runs like her battles below!!!!
  22. Advan were removed from distributorship...... there is a thread somewhere where i posted pic on how to install R33 plenum on R34. DisregardKW KINGS post as it makes no sense... there is no cutting required.... PLAZAMANS gear is overpriced.... if your on a budget a copy greddy would be a better option.
  23. sounds like it was installed wrong, the carbon one in cats car and the twin in mine is sooo easy to drive, very slippable if needed (trailer loading etc) evan cat hs no issues with it..... it is very liveable as a daily.
  24. Filler panel now in STOCK $215 only 4 left from group buy though.
