  1. shit i may sit on my rb20 ones a bit longer haha
  2. Leave the rest of the jumpers in the STD positions, see manual for factory jumper settings.
  3. Ive noticed that piston to bore clearances are fairly up the shit with many of the US pistons atm (cant remmber the acl specs though), what are the ACL clearances on the particular model you have? I just finished a few ARIAS forged build and always go way smaller in the piston to bore clearance than recommended. Its seems many have a generic clearance. But dont panic and keep it simple, check things like pcv, baffles in rocker cover etc..
  4. I have seen custom low mount td06's/T67's and twin GT3037s....but the T618z are close to being the largest kit, tomei do one also but i cant remmeber the specs. I have seen just shy of 500rwkw with T618z's but require lots of head work.. a single is cheaper and easier...
  5. yeah its easy. just remmeber to remove the sway bar makes it nice and quick.
  6. its all the same shite.
  7. negatory on the necessary, but you will get an increase in power if you want to get a tune done.
  8. I love hong kong...... my old man flies for cathay pacific so we were based there for 10-15 yrs cant remmeber exactly. what area are you staying? My old man may be keen on giving you a tour of all the good car places.... he is mates with a few.... heaps of ex-pats spend a lot of coin at these places. oh yeah and if you like to party the place is unequalled...... hang out where all the air hosties hang and you will have a ball... or two...or three... british airways ladies love to partay
  9. yeah i have done plenty of R34's check out the FAQ
  10. Jim at CRD is meant to be very good.
  11. i will do anything..... but needles......fkn freaks me out...... broke a few in my arm when i was younger... hats off to those who do for sure.
  12. exactly ^^^ but you do need to pick up a better vac source, the d-jetro comes with detailed instructions. I fitted the d-jetro to the car in my signature as part of a d-jetro versus Emanage ultimate comparision and it works fine... no need to go backwards by fitting a single throttle body.....
  13. The drift ones are very accurate unlike many of the other cheap stuff, post a pic so i can see. I know most of the better ones like the defi ones in my car sit a bees dick above 0 (as it is measuring the ACTUAL atmoshere pressure)
  14. ^^^ i ran a similar one (NOT JJR) in our drift car and it was worse than std gtr radiator.... they just dont hold the volume to work effectively.
  15. Workshops who burn coils do not follow instructions unfortunately. The EMU when first fitted does NOT alter any engine parameters until programmed so you can confidently fit it at home and drive to wherever needs to tune it without fear of engine damage.
  16. Yeah they DO NOT pass cams regs but we all race non-speed events. I am sure the rules will change soon and all our jap cages will need removing.....(as ther is now way in hell of them getting approval) i will go see the boys at MEIDIAN motorsport for our new weld in.
  17. HA-HA replying to my own post..... well the pressure plate cracked in the OS (who knows how old it was... it came in the front cut) the plates are fine so ive kept them as spares. We fitted a (pro Carbon twin) 559CC ORC and it is by far the best clutch we have used to date.
  18. its because the mechanic is lazy...... simple as that.
  19. yeah i can vouch for the beneifits on SR (but i still prefer to use decent engine mounts but not NISMO on sr they aint flash at all... URAS or KAZAMA are the go)
  20. awesome gauges we run them in cats drift car. I have never had a return but, if you have any issues im sure it would be swapped on the spot. With the car not running where does the needle sit?
  21. very keen please post up some better pics
  22. hahaha so true.
  23. Haha i thought so, i had a call about an hour ago. I dont know exactly which ones need mods and which dont every time i think i know the pattern i get one that is left of field and doenst adhere to the pattern.
  24. they hardly do shite on RB's as the attachment point is a flexible bracket (factory lifting pont).
  25. I fit literally hundreds of these things and they require 31207 blitz collars (similar to sard). Some RB25 also require small mods to the bottom side feed collar (30 secs) i will post a pic asap. Great injector. ooh remember to use your old o-rings too.
