  1. Nah it has to be removable for assy, but this is where the OSGIKEN gearsets were breaking (not sure where the PAR ones keep breaking). The OSGIKEN used the factory key way setup whereas the PPG uses a better spline setup (look under bearing you can just see it)
  2. yeah i hate pull clutches, so i fit push type housings all the time.
  3. Some pics of our synchro SR20 PPG, we opted for the billet selectors aswell as these are half the reason these boxes wont shift gears at high rpm.
  4. Pics as promised. VHT spray can job.
  5. New lifters are not dear i think MDspares in vic is where i got my last set.... nissan want drug money for the same thing in another box.
  6. Nah the ORC/BLITZ clutches have a very pregressive pedal even though it is light, once the OS is shagged in ours it is getting the flick for anothe ORC/BLITZ twin.
  7. sometimes you will have idle issues as there is more load on an auto engine at idle and on return to idle, i would only look at a mines if i was adding emanage ultimate or safc or similar. The only real useful thing is the changed cut points.
  8. No bussines is actually busier than ever and we cant keep the genuine ones in stock, in fact we sell more R33 plenums than the rest of TRUST's worldwide distributors combined. Im was not saying all copies are water injection models but there is a shipment in melb that came in a few months ago that had this issue i even know the supplier as i distribute his other gear. i dont care if people buy copies there is always going to be people who have differrent proiritys just look at all those tools who buy those junk china turbo's.......... horses for courses. i was just informing potential buyers to ask around before they make a purchase if no one else has had dramas from that particular supplier i would safely say you are ok....
  9. easily i know of at least 4 that have been running over 300rwkw for 2years.
  10. it depends on headroom in the tune, we rans cats car all 2004 at 98% duty cycle with no dramas, it is not all that smart but it is doable. Bigger injectors a better tune will usually yeild better power as you dont need the headroom precautions.
  11. the latst ones actually have greddy stamped in them too..... and the sticker has greddy on it too.
  12. i usually have 30 -odd in stock but blitz has been unable to supply for 2mths.
  13. http://www.gktech.com.au/products/?categor...p;show=Category
  14. the solenoid is only a slave, the unit itself was the issue. i was hoping they did more than just change the case color, but no it is just a limited edition same thing but differrent case.
  15. Its either an indian cheapy with casting issues (look for flaws, i cant see any in the pic though) or the belts were to tight. I have seen this happen to those copy SR20 sumps getting around small tap on a ripple strip and they literally fall off.
  16. far out im diggin from the past but those tomei turbs are big, bigger than the T618Z's ive used in the past... even the T618Z's needed big big cams to work effectively... like 280 big and as far as lift goes they were big enough to require relieving the cam tunnels (common i know but still) anyone used them? they are bigger than TD06's but low mounted.
  17. Yeah wheezy i know the car you are talking about the car had uncontrollable boost spiking and creep due to bad flow throught the wastegate, whilst modding this to a bigger hole would have fixed the issue is was beside the point. The turbo was reccommended by a garrett distributor to a reputable workshop as a bolt-on (ish) low mount upgrade for R33... it was not and hence they returned it and supplied at gt35 which has since been high mounted and externally gated.....once bitten twice shy.
  18. The R34GTT box is the same as the R33 GTST one, i use them in most conversions as they are low mileage and it gives a little more headroom in the punishment area. We run shockproof in our boxes also. car makes over 300rwkw. I hate short shifters though and refuse to use them, a GTR shifter with the metal ball end is my pick for an improvement. I also hate pull clutches so i fit push type GTR bellhousings to the GTT boxes.
  19. depends on your application, i dont usually use them, the large ones are actually water lines for throttle body heating.
  20. NICE CONVERSION im suprised you went with the diagonal east west rear mount setup.
  21. for what?
