  1. the latch needed mods from memory but i honestly cant remmeber what we did
  2. I am also a APEXI PFC dealer and tuner..... is that a fair answer? in fact anyone got a R34 GTR? i got one to many that i need to rid myself of $890+gst.
  3. Tuning an emanage is quicker than say a powerfc so dyno time is reduced, but if the tuner is inexperienced with emanage then you will probaly pay the same. So there is an advantage to go to some-one with emenage experience if you want to save $$$ The software is set up so that even a green tuner can come to grips with it very quickly. The instructions for use are fairly average so we lucky it is pretty much self explanatory dont get me wrong i still tune as many PFC's as emanage but i find many have "overspent" and could have got the same result with less expense. for guys happy to stop with mild mods the blue emanage is fine but if for any chance you do decide to continue on the mod path its is fairly easy to "outgrow" the blue, whereas the ceiling for mods on the ultimate is pretty much the same as a PFC.
  4. Maybe you need more experience......
  5. nah cause twentys are gay haha kidding. is yours making noise yet? when we going for a test drive.
  6. yeah all tuning should be done in real time, road or dyno. Pre-tunes are not that effective especially in remaps
  7. In order of dizzyness OSGIKEN PAR (dont see or hear good things about PAR though) PPG HOLINGER
  8. what is the number inside the exhaust housing? there are 3 sizes 14, 17 and 21cm housings and the 14 is actually very streetable.... the 21 is not. T78 is my favourite street/strip RB26 turbo when setup correctly.
  9. thats a greddy flop to suit RB25, i hope they have fixed the coolant passage water injection from those copies now i have seen at least 5 hydro'd engines from them now. but seriously hypertune and so forth do fabricated plenums for rb20 from memory.
  10. hmm im out of r33 i think.
  11. the noise is always present and is amplified by the pod type, i dont run bovs at all and get crazy (dose, flutter and whateva) intake reverb noise on the rb26 and the SR20. BOV's can alter this noise but again have nothing to do with the cause.....only the effect
  12. they fit GTT and all GTT bars
  13. Ahh NT03's..... i rikey. wish i had the coin for em on my old series 6... pan speed stylez i might have some brakes you may be keen to look at too... maybe do a independant shake down for us billet 6-pot 355mm rotors etc far better than the current crop of chinese gear..... at the same price i keep you updated. they are currentley being used on a few "top" jap workshop track cars.
  14. Ahh cool, i have done this abit and it works "OK" and the only reason i have done it was to get out of a bind and the machine is at my disposal 24/7, i certainly wouldnt do it on a big $$$ setup, for the same reason i wont use chinese coolers. If you dont have the cash and are stuck there are plenty of local guys here that do it for next to nothing so why would you pay that much anyway? CREATD motorsport in melb will do em change over for what i consider damn cheap.
  15. i assume these are just high flowed stockies based on the above cylinder filling comment? as the last post link above is missing.... i cant figure out why it would do it otherwise?
  16. No i did the others before i assumed my current position, now i dont even have the time to play with my own car.... cats is enough. we supply the gaurds only. the silver one below would be a little more as it sports a URAS GTT front bar not a std R34 GTT bar. That bar alone is usually $649 (less on sale)
  17. hey ^^^ if you wanna add a set of MR3's to that test background of yours let me know... I got a few guys running the BLITZ MR3's and doing very well but cant promote as they wear other brake brands on thier livery MT stewart hill climb in qld also had 2 cars in the top 5 running MR3's the winner had a fire breathing VK and there aint no MR's for them
  18. Hmm very interested in those diversion plates.
  19. Um yes all china cores are the same (high end) but when you compare them to the real high end tube and fin varietys you will find they are no-where near even alike. TRUST V-SPL are nothing like their R-SPL and BLITZ are nothing like either of those two and ALL are tube and fin...... i have tested all these back to back and there is no correct answer as to which one is best as it all comes down to APPLICATION.
  20. ok, we have done three from memory and budget about 2k using second hand parts inc paint. Of course painting is the major variable in price as is fitting so if your going to fit it yourself then expect to save. The headlights literally bolt in.
  21. yeah sucking up small kids is frowned upon.
  22. i got the c-west off cats car going cheap.
  23. for that price there is no way they could be done in metal the last S13.5 in metal we did cost $800 in labour alone.
  24. I have always used them and probaly always will, but my cars never see dirt roads, i have also checked comp blades for signs of dusting and even after 50-odd thousand kays never found anything un-toward. Mind you these cars did see quite a few sand traps over the years too so if it was going to be a problem i would have experienced it. mind you there are good mesh filters and there are shit ones.
  25. you are luky as they are not free spiners.... well not until they beat them out of the way
