  1. never had issues, use decent bits and you will be laughing blunt bits cause headaches...... and damage.
  2. No stress i have just contacted URAS and they are getting me the Part number for the fill panel. I will also hold stock as this is becoming ever frequently asked.
  3. i will answer it soon as i get to work.
  4. haha NS02 coming soon....... waiting on specs atm. News only came through on friday.
  5. one hole under battery.
  6. the BOV's actually float on their seats more with the vacuum (and pressure to seat remmeber) line dissconected. I predominantly build car for drift and the rapid on/off throttle conditions often leave a bov lagging somewhat behind (poor response and fuel mixture control if vented) and it is common to get this surging effect (different cause but safe effect), it is one of the reasons myself and many others do not run BOV's on our engines. Originally the mechanics from signal auto enlightened me to the problem as i had a similar problem with my 180 and BAI their driver at the time lokked over with their mech and picked it up within a couple of minutes. i think the key would be for you guys to log (not possible with std ecu, unless you have consult type logger) the AFM voltages as the "surging" 'chuffing' occurs im sure you will find it bouncing all over the joint (this will actually tell you what the airflow is doing inside the compressors and inlet tract). it would also be interesting to log the outlet pressures of each turbo at the same time and compare them to each other and plenum pressures.
  7. GTT is wire in as there is not enough volume even in japan to warrant manufacturing the R34 plug, i have done 3 or 4 including a non turbo R34 with GT-RS etc. R34 and NEO stagea require an ignition module that plugs in side the EMU. Rumors of burnt coils on R34 are because people dont read the instructions and forget to install this adapter. you need EMU, wiring harness, ignition adapter (internal plug in module for R34/ WGN34) from any of the dealers the unit should be no more than $1000-1100 and $1500-1700 drive away depending on your tuner. these i would consider worst case pricing too.
  8. yeah but zero on the gears is not often zero on the cams, HKS especially need dialling in to get a "real" zero. some supra ones i used on this car a few years back were ~4 degrees out.
  9. The emanage blue maybe but the ULTIMATE will do everything the PFC will and more, ignition cut instead of fuel, D-jetro, nos control, water spray, on the fly map switching, A/f auto tune via wide band input, knock monitoring, full datalogging, launch control, programable outputs (x2) etc I can confidently tune one of these to be anywhere near as good as any PFC, cats car is a perfect example. The EMANAGE ULTIMATE got a bad rap because workshops of dubious ability wire them up wrong. (i do alot of GREDDY's australian tech support for them as i am thier largest acc holder and 99.9% is installer fault) the new plug and play harness's make it just as easy as a PFC to fit and they are super easy to tune.... as a bonus it eaven comes with the software to datalog/tune and so forth. this means you are not tied to one tuner like you would be with a remap. i am more than happy to answer any emanage enquiries regardless of place of purchase on my email [email protected] Please dont see this as a greddy plug as i also import sell and tune many a PFC, well as much of them as i can get my hands on lol (still have R34 GTR, S13 all, S14 all, JZZ30 and CA18...no R33 anymore) cheers Trent
  10. yeah a couple of small washers will suffice.
  11. hmmm you have other issues, even though im no fan of 2860's i have fitted them to stockers b4 with no hassles in fact i just fitted larger T517Z's to my missus's RB26 powered silvia and it drives fine (no boost etc) of course it needs a tune but it would be safe as houses to go to shops and back....even as a daily commuter it would suffice until dyno time should present itself.. road tuning ruled out on this one....its a bit anti-social.
  12. hmmm yeah, i like the way all the suspect ones have the correction figures missing off the bottom.... even though there are still a few dodge one with tampered IT figures.
  13. TRUST part number 13526000 specs; rpm 800 2000 6000 KPA 100 300 400 L/min 5.5 19.7 59
  14. I like the R888's for dedicated track use as the RA-1 are best used "buffed" as stated in all their literature, they are also great in the wet "unbuffed". I used the RA-1 on my daily and they were great for hills and occasional track days..
  15. If your car is lowered to the point that your tie rods are no onger parrallel to the ground then yes they are a worthwhile upgrade (reduce bump steer) BUT there are plenty of cheap and nasty items which wear out very quicky and the cost invlved in upgrading the rose joints with quality QA1 items means you could have bought a good set to start with. As for tie rods i ususally i fit R33 items to most cars (s13, r32 etc) as they are stronger (requires r33 ends also) or fit extra lock items like uras, ikeya formula or tein.
  16. ^^ have they managed to break the 1min 35 yet? i know quite a few EVO's and WRX under that.
  17. HAHA no dramas, speak to LINK international in QLD they are the Aussie NISMO distributor. If they cant give you a number let me know and i will talk to nomuken and get the part number for you.
  18. after tuning more PowerFC's than i had hot dinners (especially of late) i am yet to experience this miss..... i figure there is a hole in your map somewhere.
  19. edit: thought you were chasing tie rods not ends sorry. pls delete
  20. yes no dramas, but you need the NISMO fill panel. see pic. BLITZ R34 GTT
  21. post pics, i have seen plenty of "diff" specialists with no clue. I work near ringwood so would be happy to visit if you need some gear picked up and sent over. We coming over for Drift Australia s.a. soon anyways.
  22. HA's are fairly old now considering they have been superceeded for about 3-4 years now. It would be a fair risk buying them 2nd hand.
  23. Interesting as we broke two OSGIKEN sets before lashing out on the PPG, that said we also had the PPG box built and serviced (every year) by them.
