  1. well his partner at the time he died is all for it, mick hone his co driver is also all for it. that HERALD SUN article seems to be a poorly edited version of the full story in MOTORSPORT news or something like that i read a week ago. BROCK was the DAYTONA's number 1 fan and loved the culture that it invoked, those who knew BROCK the most and how he felt about the DAYTONA believe he would want it displayed for the awesome car it was not the car that claimed his life.
  2. AutObarn have em and will match pricing, the warehouse has around 30 instock at any one time.
  3. for my reference page for swaybar comparisions, http://www.whiteline.com.au/docs/bulletins...d%20Swaybar.pdf old thread thats been around for years but is very useful. http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/archi...p/t-334213.html
  4. Glad you added that, i take it for granted people would assume as such but yeah, well said.
  5. I have my NISMO power book handy if you need some specs, its a bit dusty so i should open for a good reason.
  6. I know rear is a big issue on all skylines, i remmeber talking to the owner of NAGISA in japan (Nissan R34 Skyline GTR (R34) - Current record holder, Central Circuit Super Lap) and he as well as SUNLINE MFR all do kits for the rear. CUSCO is the only one i know that does a bolt on for the front. most are complete arms. http://www.nagisa-auto.com/
  7. http://www.moonface.co.jp/mfr/roll/index.htm They even have a tight ass option (sleeve)
  8. i use them on cats drift car, Moon Face Racing not cusco. The cusco are by far the better but 3 times the price. It is very common for the roll centre to go sub terrenial when lowering and i can tell you on the S13 it made a huge differrence to the way it turned in and held poise mid corner. In a GTR i would assume a far greater benefit due to the larger mass transfers. The CUSCO one has the advantage of radius/caster rod geometry correction also. The MFR ones for the Front and rear are basically ball joints with 25mm extra length, the front of my car used Nagista lowers arms to combat the roll centre problem, but i gave them to Mark from exhaust tech to try in his S15., i think they are still in there.....
  9. exactly this person has killed a 15 year old passenger in his car (lancer) and an innocent taxi passenger and critically injured others..... taxi fault my ass. My message to the driver: Take responsibility for your lack of skill and judgement, you messed up, you killed innocent people sad i know but is no-ones fault but yours.... if you were doing the limit and the taxi pulled out no doubt it would have had another outcome...most likely non fatal. i pass on all my condolences to the family of all involved including the driver, truly a sad and preventable waste of life.
  10. By "they" i meant the cops, there is a lot of paper work in getting video evidence. I was part of a sting that involved stolen goods from my store that ended up on ebay in SA and we set them up to meet in a servo and to get the video was difficult as it remains the property of the servo and needs to be returned. i hope your right and it is already in their possesion.
  11. Depends on useage too, for non return systems CAMS require a 2litre capacity. The average streeter could get away with a 1litre one... horses for courses.
  12. ^ cause that would be logical
  13. did they get the footage? i know i had to bust balls to get footage from a servo when a car was stolen. It really should not be a problem but they just seem not to care. Bust em and Bust em til they get it.
  14. i reckon get the footage from the servo and post it up.....
  15. NO, R32 GTST has the same gearbox as S14 and S13, but with a shorter main shaft. The gear set in a R33 GTst is the same as GTR but the main shaft is differrent. GTR have a short output shaft to mate to the transfer case. R33 and R32 GTR boxes are the same apart from the bellhousings on some models are pull not push. GTR housings fit on GTST and vice versa, i have a R34 GTT box with GTR bellhousing in our S13. R33 GTSt R34GTT and R32/R33 GTR bell housings all interchange, R32 only interchanges with VL comm, S13, S14 and Series III bluebird from memory.
  16. posted it up in ns.rice.com for you gary, i hope you get it back and get an address of these f**kers. http://www.nissansilvia.com/forums/and0365...15-t216483.html http://www.nissansilvia.com/forums/and0365...UT-t216484.html

    My New Re-tune

yeah im not a fan of the sealed ones (CDA's), every car ive used one on loses quite a lot of power. the pods like AL are using work very well.
  19. track ready GTS for sale and it will maul most GTR's around a circuit. A big comment i know but having owned all the above suggested cars i honestly feel im not just saying that. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...id=2902566&
  20. just past waverly gardens headed towards blackburn. Ive since heard no-one was hurt. so its all good.
  21. that just looks like a r32 GTR lip....
  22. Yeah ive done a couple, mostly behind SR20's with a sr-rb adapter but yes a GTR box will bolt up fine you just need to cut the output section off for the front drive shaft. you will also need R32 gtr tailshaft and a custom gearbox mount (very simple) i have attached pics of the modified Transfer, i have one laying around somewhere if you get stuck. also included a pic of the SR20 to RB20 gearbox housings i keep.
