  2. yeah we used to use alot of 8cm instead of 10cm but the small gain in response is countered by the massive loss in mid and high end torque. will post a comparo on friday when im back at the shop. Its uprising how much the 8cm holds the turbo back on a 2.5 litre.

  7. unfortunately too many shops treat e85 like methanol... braided everything, 12 surge tanks 8 pumps, billet rails, 24 injectors etc.... all it does is overheat the fuel anyways.

  12. is it running oil restrictors in the block? ive seen the same thing when the builder run restrictors in both galleries.

  14. Some hold boost...just dont make power... utter junk. We were around 20rwkw behind from 17psi onwards and 40rwkw odd at higher boost levels. Swap out the int gate housing to ext gate and magic happens... But they are cheap so what the hey.
  15. Use the votage curve table to calibrate the afm curve. I will see if i still have any of the old tunes that i can post the voltages from. I generally dont keep the old ones on the laptop anymore as its getting to crowded in the map folders. It will only take 20mins to write a new curve with on the dyno so it not a real issue, or is it being home tuned? road tuning the curve can be painful.

  17. yes ive had words to justin about that 1:36 is his best, i reckon there is another 2 or so in it, but GTST brakes are his down fall. Next track day im gonna passenger with a cattle prod. Yes john is mad, super consistent, nice guy and needs a bigger AFM... or not i think he enjoys the flames.
  18. yeah we are starting to see more and more over advanced engines come in on e85.... i just dont get it.. E85 is one of the simplest fuels to tune for... that said i will often do a 98 tune first to give myself a decent base / engine charactaristic to work from
  19. have you paired the afm v inputs? it should be workaraoundable unless its d-jetro. fix ait though its important.

  24. those generic bar and plate coolers are very average once you start to up the boost. 17-18 on they heat soak real bad.
