  1. yup i have some clutches give high readings.. had some interesting issues with jb clutches were the knock levels on a car were getting higher and higher and it turned out the rivets for the clutch plates were not strong enough and both were rattling... found the source, so i called the other customer in and found the same thing. The noise was discernible when using the head phones but not the pfc knock monitor.
  2. on the back of the bearing you remove, but as zebra said measure first.
  3. bearings are bearings i use king in everything. Factory Nissan bearings are also good.

  5. Sweet, it turned out the old usb to serial drivers that were supplied literally screwed all my USB connectivity for other products, i had to do a full FTDI clean / erase. hopefully the new driver eliminates all the issues.
  6. if you want one i can get it from ray direct ^^ best bet is on the block but you can go off the head too, just need a few runs to sort out the base noise of the engine.

  15. honestly most places charge 650-850 for a tune regardless of ecu so that ecu @ 450 + 650 is about the cheapest option around. Ring AVO and get a qoute for a tune and you will soon see what it will owe you in total.
  16. The gizzmo knock monitor is hard to beat, but the knock box is also very good just a little bulky.
  17. yeah be aware the tuner cable is not longer available for these so you need to make sure your tuner can tune it, i have a few customers i have reffered to AVO here in melbourne as they are the only ones with the cable / handset... as it was discontinued years ago and is no longer supported. Good ecu, just need the handset, but i see your in berwick so AVO will be able to tune it and they are fairly local (moorabin).

  21. hey Stao i did one of these the other week for Micheal, worked much better than the atp highflow so congrats. I have another customer getting one done there atm but you accidentley did it to your 300rwkw spec unit not the 250rwkw we needed, has he got in contact? as the unit may be too laggy and will certainly kill the auto.
  22. its probably something that needs to be made clearer as al the turbo s require custom fab work to some degree.
