  1. true, 8 and 9kg are high but meh, we have run similar in KE70's. I personally would run 8kg/mm and 6kg/mm. Ignore the haters....
  2. Code 21 is usually a misfire associated with coil-packs on the Neo r34.
  3. yeah we ahve few that come in and TBH i would not consider it unless i could fit it outside of the engine bay, i did a check where the car was left idling for 15mins with bonnet shut then did a power run and it was down on power significantly.
  4. sell the lid separate, we have run dual intank pumps in the past with good results.
  5. The metal rings will stop it sucking n too.
  6. Thats the ticket, perfect solution.
  7. l2 wheel is cut back significantly.
  8. yup, you just need to run a spacer, we found the std manifold to be a restriction though (fitted a/m one and it gained more mid and top) those turbos support 315-330rwkw at 19-20psi out of the b0x on internally std rb25 (no cams etc).
  9. yeah at the lights or sitting idle they work in reverse, the under bonnet heat absorbs into the barrel and gets worse and worse as there is no airflow across radiator. A fix is a thermo that comes in at idle (closed throttle switch, with rpm hysteresis or speed sensor input)
  10. are they preset will all the correct shift pressures and what not? if not the are no different to all other ecus.... all ecu's can run an auto if you know the solenoid switching and relevant input /outputs. If it does thats pretty sweet, but i still wont touch them
  11. BTW L2 is no good on anything over 2.2l... rear is too small, power graph is pretty much a 45 degree slope not a nice inverse parabola.
  12. run a TD06sh-25g or t67. I had a soarer on the dyno yesterday (VB on SAU's mate) and it made 270kw on 19 psi (not on my dyno as gate diaphragm was split, we only saw 230 @ 14psi) it had a 8cm TD06s-25G if it was mine i would fit a t67 10cm, 280-330rwkw easy, stock bottom end will piss it in. Ive used these with great success http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Turbocharger-Mitsub...=item4153621750
  13. i prefer to run the hot side of the cooler the same ID as the turbo outlet (2.25" - 2.5") and the cool side of the cooler piping the same size as the throttle body. We have run 300+ rwkw on 2.25" (60mm) hot piping and saw no increase when going to 3"
  14. send me an email if you like, id be happy to discuss it. last one we tuned was last week in a std engined 470rwkw cressida on e85.
  15. definatley worth HP, we did back to backs with that belmouth on my old 180sx and it only had a baby hks gt3037s.
  16. performance, its worth a few NM and KW's.
  17. if your seriuos dude, they are the only thing that interfaces with every different tuning interface with 100% reliability.... ive spent 10000000's on flash laptops, top of the range this and that with all the different windows and honestly the TOUGHBOOK ON XP eats every thing... i love it and i have a killer supplier now for them. im looking to upgrade (new model) so when i get rid of this one i will let you know it will go CHEAP.
  18. no go as lot of the Motec stuff is DOS based.
  19. but it gets real sketchy, afrs are all over the place as you need to tune for the peak load/ rpm afr's.... really not a good idea. Ie if it max'd out @ 10 psi and your running 16 psi then the tune when running or passing through everything from 10psi to 15psi will have the same fuel and ignition figures as it would @ 16 psi.... not nice, it will be mego rich and mega retarded at anything below 16 psi.....
  20. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/E8...80&start=80 old news but is a alternative for E85 if you cant get it somewhere.
  21. ^^ 60% is enough to be corrosive.... especially if left to sit, it was called MD60 (Martin Donnon 60% meth) he post on here and is a wealth of information, may be worth sending him a pm asking how safe it is.... im sure he will say not so safe (good for power though).
  22. ^^^ dont stress 98% of tuning programs bomb on vista Its the main reason i backloaded XP onto my toughbook.
  23. yeah its fine but you MUST wire up the coolant temp sensor as its needs lots on temp comp for cold start.
  24. nice ecu, we used one to make some real nice HP and they generally drive great.
