  1. what ecu, crank MS pulse is the key.
  2. mine went to good use
  3. im pretty sure it is driver related, my toughbook (running XP) is stable as but that said it has eleven billion tuning programs on it, i reckon the USB to serial driver it comes with is conflicting with another one i have installed for the old white datalogit. I use serial for catalogue now as it offers 100% (never ever had a connect issue) reliability. For those without so many other tuning programs already loaded i reckon it will work fine, i was not willing to delete programs and drivers i use everyday (or al least 2 3 times a week) just to verify a driver conflict as it does not happen with any other interface. When it did load up it performed flawlessly so for those looking for a cheap interface its a good option. If you have vista i reckon your gonna struggle with the usb to serial as its a known issue... even the original datalogit usb to serial was unreliable with vista.....best bet xp.
  4. 2k towards some nice tyres too
  5. yeah, kinda pointless on alot of cars, the evos get good gains though.
  6. me, well i would not spend that money but after speaking to a few jap tuners in japan they all swear by them (better overall distribution and good gains even on small setups)... just one shop here does not like them.. hardly enough to convince me they "aint all that" Basicly i agree though for 2k id spend it elsewhere to gain a few 10ths... but if you have the coin spare do it.
  7. wrecker motor or one of the 4 sale forums... in and out in 2 days... diy.
  8. same principal, it works... but isnt worth trying.
  9. try pissing with a toothpick in the end of your cock........
  10. mines use it...
  11. if your ever keen to sell let me know.

  13. yeah i was fan but they have discontinued some of the range like sr's are no more...
  14. chasing chin, rear bob and flares for a GC210... any local leads?
  15. should'nt be, the ones i have here have a diff finish.
  16. ignore that, its about 1000000000000000000000 light years off being accurate. use a real lambda sensor or lean it off in steps until it stalls then about 2 page up steps will get it idling if the wiring etc is all correct
  17. yeah they look like arias, not a bad budget piston... little noisy is all.
  18. yeah, i reckon it probably the TPI, i would run it without it like i posted above.
  19. try with the tpi disconnected.
  20. bout the same, what rears are on the td's. there are 2 sizes
  21. im not sure if your aware but if you leave the AFR gauge set to petrol it will read the relevant AFR's i posted above, it will only read 8.2 AFR if your set (most wont change it as its confusing) it to alcohol or e85 so the 12.5 etc are usable as a reference. I dont like it though so Lambda for me.
  22. is it hot or cold your issues? i found a trick with the other E85's to start even on a key flick when cold.
  23. not on the ecu it has, if it had the trim tables then yes but even then it was a little ragged.
  24. This seems to back the testing we have done, if you read my previous post (page 1) we are tuning E85 to around 0.84 lambda (12.4-12.5 afr).
  25. this was just to test A/F. It was not a normal tuned to each a/f as such (hence why i added no timing changes at the bottom)... customer just wanted to run a few runs a different a/f's to compare out put. Best way would have been to fully tune it at each A/F but it was a freebie so i wasn't able to donate the required time to do it. Car was left @ 0.84 as this is where it works best.... yes it will take more timing when its richer but E85 will take like 5 or more degrees after it peaks without any gains.
