  1. Nah im just saying wait till you get the car back from whoever is doing it before posting anything... what if you get it back and it is killer... best tune ever? everyone who read this thread prior to it being finished thinks that the shop you mentioned is shit and wont take their car there... Not everyone will read your outcome. If you get it back and your unhappy then let rip. Also if they saw this thread chances are they are hardly gonna put any effort into it....
  2. quick tip, i wouldnt be hanging shit (especially online) on a company if they have your car..... kinda like shooting yourself in the foot.
  3. Yeah the average ones are all the internal gated Td06sL2-20g turbos, some have evo footprint some have T28, the t28 was average, but the evo setup was pretty good. The t28 footprint L2 was 20-30rwkw off the target set by a genuine one. The like for like turbos from kando and the "other" place like the T518Z (int gate) T67 (ex gate) and L2 (ex gate) which have the same mounting foot print are so close in power results it aint funny. We just fininshed a t67 t3 foot print ex gate on a 6boost manifold and it mirrored a full trust T67 kit.. both good mates and customers who have plenty of r&d time on the dyno. Needless to say even i was super impressed by the results. i reckon the ex gate turbos are a winner regardless, the int gate turbos are average with only the T518z being close to the original.
  4. let me guess he is a microtech dealer As the vipec is no different than any other decent ecu feature wise his comments are a bit surprising really.... But other than that it is better they are thorough than slap happy, more time the better.
  5. Takes me less time to setup than strapping down cars on the dd we used before. Setup time is 5mins max. Bear in mind the dynapack is dearer than both mainline and dynodynamics, so price up all your options first. Me i personally could never go back to a roller style dyno regardless of the brand as none of them have any where near the control as a hub setup..... TBH only a person who has never used a hub dyno will have negative things to say.
  6. Im pretty sure we buy from the same place then Used a few of their T67's and L2's and they mirror the genuine trust gear to the letter. Have made in japn on both turbo and box but i know for a fact they are from ROC as ive seen the factory. Its the same factory Kazama and others in japan are sourcing from. No issues on reliability here yet either.
  7. im not a fan of the arias gear, i would spend the dough on CP's or JE for sure.
  8. http://mx5cartalk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?...c&start=195 better options around.

  11. they have come with the controllers for about 5-6 years now... get your coin back. I got one in under a week for a customer via japan. if you get a refund try jesse he supplies just about everyone i know with jap gear well below websites like nengun, RHD and so forth website is www.jessestreeter.com

  16. Have had multiple failures from the after-market brands forget the hype.... there is only one sure fire thing Splitfire, we wont use anything else anymore, plus they are only a 100 more if you buy from the right place.
  17. Ive seen a few jap gtr's with a similar design is it based on a sard item?
  18. Ah shizzer i just looked at your picture, i have a few spare of those little suckers (i thought it was the usual main cpu failure). If you like i can repair it here if you get stuck.
