  1. i remmeber speaking to one of my old mans work colleages and he paid over 10million (1.3million aud) for a 2 digit number plate... he wanted to be in the top 20 elite list as most of the other owners of single and dual digit numbers are dignitaries or celebs. Status or perceived status is very important over there... hence the huge numbers of merc and BMWs the number plate trade over there is big business it is around 33-40million (4.4 million aud) a MONTH. On a different note I sure miss living there, one of the best places on earth.
  2. here are your vic Nistune dealers, pricing ranges depending on whether or not they leave the nistune board in the ecu, if they do it should be around 800-900 fitted and tuned, then every time you do a mod it can be touched up live for the cost of dyno time... not a full retune. 3. Why? its junk unless you drive like a 100yo or run std boost. we have tested them over and over for stubborn people who were told online they were a decent upgrade.... they arent. A decent return flow front mount cooler (no cop issues) will allow just about unlimited hard driving before heat soak occurs.... the r34 one needs little more than half a lap or a few spirited runs in the hills before its transformed into a inter warmer.
  4. hmm does not sound good, if it was fine for the first run i would suspect you may have hurt the engine on the subsequent run. Hard to say without seeing it though.
  5. i reckon i have a few C33 laurel uras bodykits and gaurds.
  6. then its useless to use as a comparison unfortunately.
  7. i have a few shops around us that lock ECU's (holden and ford)..... because they use the same tune in each car and dont want others to see what they are doing.... its fraud flat out.
  8. cant see it being an issue. I run R34 GTR's off R32 gtr ecus's.... Get two cam gears and spent some time on the dyno, you can get the cams to work well without vct as this dyno graph shows. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Rb...ft-t308743.html
  9. Get a decent cooler before an ecu remap, the r34 cooler is not much better than std.
  10. the speed of delivery and ease of ordering has to be commended too.
  11. yeah you can see the L2's unhappy, the 8cm rear is just too small for the 2.5l. To make 300 its running 25psi .... a quick check of the exhaust manifold pressure would tell the story....
  12. both cars were @ 90% inj duty...... damn killjoy for sure both like to be around 20-22psi like you say, but these are the only two i have which are apples to apples, i have a few 22psi runs on the T67 (another car) but the GT3071is not complete. Cars are off getting injectors so when they return i will post em up but i reckon months not days...
  13. runs @ 17psi and i have picked the best average of both. The T67 is a bit wavy but has since been sorted.
  14. here is the R33 4dr with std internals T67, 6boost getup (owner built car), dyno graphs soon i promise.
  15. i think you will find only the boxes change
  16. doing XR6 Turbos.... it takes between 5-7mins for each write. (make a change press enter then .....wait 5-7mins) seriously need someone to release decent LIVE tuning for these fkrs, its no wonder latley that i see the same map loaded in each car... someone locally is obviously too lazy to do it properly...... and they are making a fortune from it as its hardly viable to do it properly like i do. i need something to stop me going crazy whist waiting hence inter-webs in the background .
  17. got a nice gt3071 overlay with the T67 up tonight.
  18. The rb25 will support mid 300's unopened all day everyday, there are however a handful that fall over valve spring wise.
  19. t67 10cm, without doubt. Td06l2 way too small. Just finished a 33 4 door with 6boost manifold, blitz gate and custom T67 (t3 flange) and it made 320rwkw @ 18psi, super responsive and lots of broad torque. (im on the dyno ATM so no graphs til later)
  20. it can be done with std nissan parts, no custom work is needed.
  21. you might be ok with the a/m bovs providing the spring is strong enough. the R34 bovs are actually open 4mm at idle and decel to smooth reverb and r33 are similar so dont try it on stockers.
  22. is that like disneyland?
