  1. JE's are sweet and my first choice, little more hardy than the mahles in a street car. approx $1100
  2. the acl picstons are junk, get something decent. Im guessing the car is just for generally having fun etc? as the handle pretty bad with all the extra weight over the front axle centreline. We have done alot of RB conversion over the years.
  3. yeah we use jap or for cheap rads we use ASI, we have used about 20 ASI rads with no issues including 3-5 regular SAU track day junkies cars.

  5. On that car i fitted R32 lower rad support and castor brackets.
  6. cause the boxes i started putting them in got too full, i reckon at least 100-150 in boxes i put one of the good ones on your GTR the other day
  7. Trim the rad support to give you more room, i had the factory clutch fan setup in ours with the ASI radiator and it was perfect.... never overheated. The only thermos that would cut it once i fitted a bigger radiator (greddy sponsorship) were flex-a-lite slimline twins fans...

  9. depends on how much time you get to play with them dyno wise, i spent about 2-3 hours playing with cams in a std r33 with no vct to get gains every where. If you have the time to play then do it, if not std ftw. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Rb...ft-t308743.html

  11. dont use them.... worst clamps ever (read attached link... i bin about 30 a week). T-bolt clamps are a terrible trend started by autosalon dudes who like shiny stuff.   14. thats what i noticed in the pics, the boost source for the solenoid was in the wrong spot (hookes to std boost controller dump port in the plumb back line)
  15. should not be any smoke coming out... whats your piston to bore clearance?
  16. the boost source for the solenoid is wrong but its hard to tell from the pic (it looks like it is running off the std boost controller dump line) hook it to the line ive marked in red.

Johnny go the -9's Use factory lines (best solution and bulletproof) std dumps, make sure all heat sheilds are reused and no need to ceramic coat. port match exh manifold to turbo mounting flange. nismo afms (nicer resolution) std pump Upgrade Front pipe for sure Injectors 555, 660 (std can be done for just over 300 but will be too close to max duty for my liking) Cam Gears (see access autoworks) killer setup 315-335kw easy (common outcome)
  18. hmmm D2's are garbage, ive even got a set here from an evo that broke the camber plates after 3 weeks....
  19. like i said earlier though a decent manifold does drop it abit over the Chinese one that was used on that setup but no more than 400rpm. All the to4z setups we have had come through have been done elsewhere and we were trying to "fix" them.... as customers were generally told to expect full boost @ 4000rpm.... which just isnt a reality with the TO4Z regardless of what their graphs told them.. i could if i was so inclined change the response with ramp rate like alot of guys do to make it pretty for customers but its not realistic, ive had quite a few come through from various workshops with graphs that show unrealistic response but when run on my dyno at a realistic ramp they are all about the same. post up the graph and i will soon be able to tell.
  20. GT3582 or K3-660R To4Z on a realistic ramp 5000 is about the minimal on a std rb26
  21. nice simple 5min diag and fix, there was no way in good conscience i could charge for 5mins work.
  22. go the -5's, compared to your N1's you will fill your pants on both sides.

  24. Just for shits and giggles check out the gt2860-5 @15psi versus To4Z @15 psi, i wont post the -7's or -9's as it is even better again. The T04z needs minimum 20psi to wake up and a redline of 9000rpm, not ideal for a stocker.
  25. Power and response see about right for your combo, This GTR only made 369hp @ 15 psi and 461hp @ 17 psi the T04z is a cop on a std rb26 until 20-24psi (decnt manifolds do help a bit). The same setup then made well over 500awhp @ 22psi. Your boost response seems about right too for your setup.
