  1. princes highway friday night
  2. My cousin at the last phillip island track day on his duke.... was great to see a naked lapping quicker than a lot of hypersports bikes.
  3. It was track only (lots of carbon, no starter etc, no numbers as it was a tka frame) and only got used occasionally cause we were so busy... a real waste, so i sold it to someone who had time to use it.
  4. if it creaking its probably cracked and flexing, common problem.
  5. make sure the lines are round the right way (correct oil flow). In all my years i have never had issue with worn lifters in R34, but i see the cooler installed wrong all the time. the centre hole with thread is return the outside hole is output.
  6. Stao the intake pipe is not the issue on this car. The actuator is fully preloaded.... it has no thread left to wind in more. Have you got a 18psi base pressure actuator available still? I know we are going to get drop but it could be improved a little with more preload. I havent used the new mod you are doing to the turbos (like ricks actuator flap restricor) but im concerned about big spikes on gear changes, have you had much feed back? i really don't want to play guinea cop with a customer. (NOT CRITICISM JUST A QUESTION)
  7. good to hear.... i was hoping it was a hoax.
  8. <---- bikes fTW Next bike will be a RC8R, as i miss my old ex TKA ZX7RR superbike
  9. What a world we live in.... .... A few weeks ago in a movie theatre in Melbourne a person sat on something that was poking out of one of the seats. When she got up to see what it was she found a needle sticking out Of the seat with a note attached saying a quote; 'You have just been infected by HIV' quote.. The Disease control Centre in Melbourne reports many similar incidents have occurred in many other Australian cities recently. All tested needles are HIV Positive. The Centre also reports that needles have been found in the cash dispensers in ATMs. We ask everyone to use extreme caution when faced with this kind of situation. All public chairs/seats should be inspected with vigilance and caution before use. 17 people have been tested positive in the Western suburbs alone in the last 2 months!!! A careful visual inspection should be enough. In addition they ask that each of you pass this message along to all members of your family and your friends of the potential danger. We all have to be careful at public places! This is very important. Just think about saving a life of someone even you don't know by forwarding this message. Please, take a few seconds of your time to pass it along. Australian Red Cross Blood Service I hope this is a hoax.
  10. With the std plenum and tb's i like to use two sourced of the runners like in the apexi manual, it gives better resolution a part and mid throttle, WOT it makes no difference.
  11. Email replied with GM map sensor scale and offset.
  12. locked for sure.
  13. 70 mm primary's (one with flex pipe) with 85mm secondary to cat flange. Got zilch here sorry ooh apart from some nice std r32 ones
  14. Back to back R32 std dumps and equal length front pipes (unsure of brand but quality jap) and the greddy front dump combo kit. Car tune was untouched and both pulls were done at the same AIT, oil and water temps (within a degree or two). Included ambient temp comparo so you can see it is indeed not a correction variance peak and power from 5000rpm was near identical power but we saw 18kw and 56nm @ 4000rpm upto 34kw and 69nm @ 4500 on this GTR, i reckon with tighter gate adjustment it would have been even better (as would the std runs) but you can see i pulled out of the run (and tightened gate for the next round of runs). May be worth asking 9KRPM for an independent opinion as he saw some gains from memory. I generally dont bother getting customers to fork out the extra (the greddy items are hell dear) as the stock gear does the job nicely (especially R34) even the std manifolds are not worth changing, but if the customer want every last NM its the piece of kit i recommend. Others may get better or worse results but all i can do is post my results.
  15. RE-READ my post "twin turbo V8's" ..... im referring to multiple cars hence multiple pumps.... you would be surprised how many kms one of them does, frequently driving interstate.
  16. Usually something jams in the seat and bends the valve then the guide cracks and all hell breaks loose, was it inlet or exhaust guide?
  17. green black strip--- green yellow stripe---black white stripe----black looking from wire end of plug with clip facing up. Forgive my paint skills.
  18. send me an email to [email protected] and i will email the calibration so you can just cut and paste
  19. the idle control valve has water running through it, air lock will cause it to do weird things.... S15's are the worst for it as the water runs through the TB... they will idle around 2500rpm if airlocked
  20. 1500hp twin turbo v8's...... idling around town with aeromotive 11102 's there is a whole lot of bypass.. hence why we use them. Application http://aeromotiveinc.com/products-page/fue...&height=136
