  1. Remmeber 18-19psi for that turbo to be in its efficiency range.... @ 15psi they dont make much (no where near 270rwkw).
  2. I would buy the blitz ones ($850) not the highflows for the power you are after.
  3. If you get stuck i got a set of new rb25 injectors. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ga...view=getnewpost
  4. this is from memory so bear with me. Pretty sure pin 56 is the ecu water temp pin (from the dual wire sensor) and 28 is auto control???, the dash sensor is a separate one wire sensor, usually blue with black trace. Trace the color back from the sensor just to be sure. (both sensors are located next to each other)
  5. Geraus dont waste your money, for your setup their is not enough benefit.
  6. Cam gears at a decent price http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...#ht_2781wt_1165 or if your not an ebay fan http://www.accessauto.com.au/
  7. Depending on where its cracked it could be a simple weld job. Take it to a reputable cylinder head reconditioner.
  8. agreed i should have read the whole thread but depending on the type dump it can still be usefull, if it is a straight through pipe then no it is a useless test, but if it is a chamber type with the usual 3 bolt flange (and 02 sensor bung placement) it will still show up any restriction, even with the exhaust dropped. We just used this to sort a restriction in a s15 that had a dodgy china split dump, then tested the tomei and CES (tomei was the pick).
  9. there is one near the container port (under bolte bridge) at the markets, it was free last time we went.
  10. if you get stuck i have one you can pick up
  11. i have a near new GREDDY pump which is the same as the nitto.
  12. i have some see my trader section
  13. got the lot in my trader section CHEAP.
  14. visit my trader section
  15. i will have a look 2moro morn in my ecu pile.
  16. drop past meridian, they usually have a good assortment of Delco and bosh AIT's. If not osaka or type m should have a few about the place. I just checked and dont have any laying around.
  17. i went down but it was too busy, i had a few guys who had there cars built by us running. A purple trition ute we did pulled 20rwkw more down there that night so the customer was stoked
  18. For the exhaust its a 5min test, pull the 02 sensor and fit a brass adapter and vac nipple, hook the second map sensor in to it and plot it.... bingo done.
  19. use a mr2 electric pump, works fine with std rack. Age old solution.
  20. True it works but its a poor solution, you can get a far nicer results doing it properly most people never fully appreciate the difference between those dodgy controllers (especially as they dont understand the tables underneath on the factory ecu to begin with) and a decent ecu. These kind of guys always stick to the rationale that thier happy with it the way it is so it must be fine..... i get in log and drive it and find it terrible... To be honest every emanage i do now has the factory maps (base tables) being constantly monitored via the nistune software... its the only way to do it properly. i had one mate with a Microtech that fully loved his car and banged on how good it was, i drove it 300m up the road and nearly pissed (laughing) myself it was that poor. it took me a hour to get it to the point i would consider acceptable.
  21. Sorry, but i just read ULTIMA and got excited, sweet project. 2 thing to do before i die 1) kit helicopter 2) Ultima GTR or joss kit car.
  22. why was that run done in 3rd? its not quite right.
  23. yes, we spend alot of time on them too, way too many people just get loaded from car to car and run on the dyno. GTR's are probably one of my favorite cars to tune nowadays with the nistune gear, i reccomend the nistune over the PFC anyday on alow mount sub 400awkw GTR. I still like my D-jetro pfc for the challenging big cam cars but the nistune is pretty damn hard to beat as a drive in drive out solution. Sam (DRDRIFT) out west is also another remap champion.
  24. fit a VK45de, better engine already rwd and good aftermarket support. The initial VH41 is cheaper but the time and cost of gearbox adaption etc really start to rack up. I would fit an LS1 or LS2 before a vh41.
  25. bewary of the SARD's we have been a bit dissapointed in the max hp they actually support (as have others), would be worth looking @ injector dynamics... maybe godzilla motorsports can help there as it would save sourcing them OS like we did..
