Mate. Im sick of reading this and similare posts to this, Jus cause you dont have insurance does not mean you cant afford insurance. In alot (most) cases it is not financially viable to pay the stupidly high premiums for god know's how long and then the ridiculously high excess fee's if one day something like this does happen. And then have to fight with the insurance company who can constantly change the rules and move the goal posts to suit the argument and weasel thier way out of paying the originally agreed amount. But im guessing buy your profile stating "you dont have to be young to enjoy a GTR" Your an older bloke so insurance only costs you a bout 12 bucks a year so in your case yes you would be an idiot not to have it. --------------------------- Sorry to hear bout the car crash mate this is the reason i dont drive mates quick cars and dont let them drive mine to many complications when things go wrong. But i do feel for you i crashed mine a little while ago at oran park massive pain in the arse time and cost wise. But i thought that was a rite off and it was not so ask around see what you come up with. Have you and your mate acually talked about your options in regards to retribution and compensation.

Are all RB coils the same. If so i will buy these straight away.

As the topic says. Which matches up with which. eg does an rb20 head bolt to an 25block or a 30 block etc Cheers Andrew..

where do the back legs bolt too..? I thought it was to the rear wheel arches? but if you can leave the back seats in? assuming you havent sold it that is.lol let us know.

oh your in vic..lol i thought you were in sydney.. I'll end up down there at some stage i dont know if the car is gonna be ready to compete this year or not jus trying to sort out the last few things like the suspension and my major lag issue.. cheers Andrew

Hey Merlin. drift wise... -do you have aftermarket castor rods and running at least 8 degrees positive castor? Yep -a little bit of toe-out can also help Havent tried this yet to me it seems like a bandaid solution. -aftermarket control arms are an expensive option, this would be one of the last drift-related mods i'd consider. To me it seems like i wouldnt be able to take full adv of the increased steering travel with the standard lower control arms What driveline & suspension mods do you have already? do you have a mech diff / welded? yes welded hicas lock? yes castor rods? yes coilovers? yes stabiliser bars? yes strut and sway. those are some things to look at before getting aftermarket control arms really dont wanna spend over 1000 but i dont know how realistic that is specially if i want to include upper arm to have camber adj. anyway cheers for your help. nah it jus pretty much kept pulling all the way up. Do you find that it comes of boost through gear changes mainly 2nd to third.

no havent posted a graph didnt even get a printout.. pretty much jus a ski jump straight up and holds the whole way to rev limit 7800. We were gonna keep turning up boost to see how far the stock 20 woul go but ran outtta fuel. To be honest it's a bit to laggy for me at first i didnt mind but it makes it hard for me to do what i need it to id love it to come on 1000 earlier. thats why i asked bout the cams . My theory was cams and race fuel with a really aggresive ignition advance might bring it down to the 4000 mark.

Hi all. What i need to do is increase my steering lock as much as possible. What i need as far as i know. 1* longer tie rods. 2* Longer and thinner front lower control arm. 3* adj upper control arm (to increae camber). now number 3 is no prob but does anyone know where a can source 1 and 2 cheers Andrew

Hey pete i got the same turbo external 3040r (.63) however no cams but a custom plenum and i made 270 at 22psi. i thought the bigger ex housing would have been laggier than that mine comes on about 5100 did the cams do much to bring it on earlier? cheers Andrew
