R33 Gtst Drivers Seat

It actually IS quite dangerous to be going considerably under the speed limit...Its been shown repeatedly that its the VARIATION in speeds which is the largest danger to the flow of traffic. Unfortunately, rather than focusing on driver training and a more rigorous assessment of a driver's skill, state governments simply prefer the easy way out of lower speed limits and more speed cameras, while the best they can offer us for driver training is a crappy log book for L plates... disgraceful really.

I'm not sure if it's an official bout the "series 1.5", but they definitely do exist. The main visual differences: --> All series 1.5's have the series 2 rear wing (squared off one) --> They have a series one bonnet (doesn't have the creases that the series II has) --> The series 1.5 has a series one front bar (as opposed to the series II with the round orange&clear lights) --> The badge on the series II is a chrome "S" on the bonnet, while the series 1.5 usually have a red "s" on the grille --> The airbag thing which you mentioned (steering wheel is different as well im pretty sure). I can't remember whether the series 1.5 has a series two engine. The main difference is that the compressor wheel on the series II turbo is nylon. I have heard from a series 1.5 owner that they have series II running gear, but i'm not 100% sure. The suspension, i dunno, haven't heard that there's a difference. Different cars feel different though, doesnt necessarily mean suspension is different. Also remember that ur car, even if apparently "stock" could have had its front bar/bonnet changed sometime in its life (and suspension too...)

Added Cold Air Box Now Car Feels Slower
-33- replied to r33madd's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Hmmm weird... What sort of airbox enclosure do you have man? Make sure its not enclosed too much otherwise you might not be getting as much air as you need to. Try ducting it and see if that helps; all you need is to put some piping from where the side mount used to be into your airbox (im sure plenty others on the forums have done it before). Unless its a major drop in power it shouldnt be an ECU problem. Try getting some good air to it first. Cheers buddy -
Ive got a set of TEIN HR coilovers which are in very good condition, except the strut is bent by about 1 cm on one of the rears. I'm thinking of getting it repaired IF its worth it. a) where could i get it done in melbourne? b) how much would it cost? c) should i just buy new ones?
