Have been contacted by Clarkson police and don't have all the details but keys were anonymously handed to police and address of cars whereabouts also given. Police are examining the car for forensic material. Officer told me the stereo is gone and the front bar damaged, haven't been able to see for myself but at least I'm getting it back. Will update when i know more. Thanks to everyone for their best wishes and helping to spread the word!

Took him for a test drive and he wanted to see under the hood, I opened the bonnet he had a look around with a torch,as I closed the bonnet he jumped into the drivers side and floored it, he did a u turn and I stepped into the middle of the road and he accellerated towards me and I jumped out of the way and he took off up Beechboro road heading towards the reid highway intersection.

Yeah mate I saw what happened to your car.......people these days are seriously F***ed, I would never contemplate doing that to someone elses car. I don't know what will happen but I have the feeling it won't end well, but there is still some hope.

Car was seen last night at woolworths fuel station on Wanneroo and Canham roads. Person called the police and me but suspect must have sensed trouble and has done a runner without paying for fuel and headed north down Wanneroo. The guy persued but was unable to keep up. Shop attendant says there is video footage of the thief so hopefully he is recognized. Car had a full tank of gas when stolen so it is being driven everywhere!

Jon was at home, this happened down the road near the hungry jacks, I called him as soon as it happened and he jumped in his car and sped down Tonkin to see if he could find it but no luck

Thanks to everyone for posting this around.........no word yet

Had to jump out of the way cause he was gonna run me down. So pissed off, not holding hope of seeing it in one piece.

Genuine Hybrid Performance Products

Sold my skyline but can you do this sort of price for an s15? Cheers -
I bought an s15 from over east it is registered in NSW so before I can register it in WA it has to go over the pits for an inspection. Only mods are a catback exhaust which i'm assuming will not be overly loud and coil over suspension which I've been told isn't very stiff. Should I expect to have problems when I go over the pits or will it be ok? Cheers

I have been looking at importing my own rx7 and found a couple I am keen on. My budget would be around 30K just buying the car. I have seen good low km s15's for around the 20-22k mark where as the rx7 I have my eye on would be much closer to the 30k. I currently have a company car so whatever I get it wouldn't be driven that much at the moement anyway. But I won't work at my current job forever. Very tough decision but to me the rx7 is just a mean car even in a reletively standard form. To be honest I have never taken either car for a test drive so i will definately have to do that before I make any sort of decision. All the info and or opinions are much appreciated

I've just sold my skyline and looking at either a s15 or FD rx7. I love the agressive look of the rx7 but i've been told they are thirsty as and the engine is unreliable but have no experience with them myself. I like the look of s15 and parts for the sr20 are availiable in bulk. Like some feedback especially from anyone that has an rx7, I know I'm probably better off posting on aus rotar or something like that but of course they will say the rotar is the best Cheers

Thinking Of Going Carbon Fibre Bonnet
GR33 vous replied to Nismo_God's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
Bonnet cost me 400 to get painted at fibre vision in perth. It was originally silver carbon fibre which looked pretty good but I had a close call with the boys in blue and didn't want to risk standing out to much and getting a defect (though I still will painted or not) I know it doesn't stand out as much as black but I think the vents and ridges stand out alot more painted than normal. I had a black carbon fibre bonnet on my wrx which was red and yes very agressive and I often wondered why people would buy one if they were going to paint it, and now I know -
Thinking Of Going Carbon Fibre Bonnet

Here's mine had it painted though. -
I agree trust front bar is simple but very effective and yes I can't go up any speed humps/driveways or anything of that nature as it hangs to low
-
Yes definately looking forward to putting this on, I'm hoping what the manufacturer promoises is reality
-
It is a 3" dump through the round bits. From what I have read it is flat and will allow more gas to pass throgh but I am not 100% sure. I currently have a full system on but wanted to change and this is something unique and the manufacturer claims a very unique sounding note but whether that is fact I will have to wait and see.
-
Yes very unique its a moonface racing dump.
-
Yeah it was pricey, cost me as much for the dump as it did for the catback exhaust
-
Yeah it is a moonface racing, the welding and everything looks top knotch.
-
Ordered new turbo back exhaust system just over 5 weeks ago from nengun. Dump pipe arrived today and looks awesome, just have to wait for the rest of the exhaust to arrive and look forward to putting it on.

Ordered my new dump just over 5 weeks ago on Nengun. Arrived today looks the goods, now just waiting on my Blitz exhaust to arrive and am anxious to see the results.

Mine originally had the carbon fibre finish but I had it painted as wanted to car to looker cleaner rather than JDM[ The painter said it was a nightmare of a job and he would never do another one again. He found it hard for the paint to seal due to the texture of the bonnet but it turned out looking pretty good and I think the vents tend to stand out more than they did originally.attachment=164511:Picture_007.jpg]
