Car has had a service and brakes machined and new pads put in. Had a roadworthy done whilst there and passed with no failures. Roadworthy valid until 10th Jan 2011 but if past this date i will arrange for another one. My finance is open to all types of car offers on the condition that it is Auto, 4 door, and has a decent sized boot. Cheers

New pics of scratches on paintwork and better quality interior pics, Car now has 65000kms on the clock, had to do a fair bit of driving into melbourne lately. Putting the car in for a service in the next 2 weeks.

Fuel consumption, as with any turbo car never too impressive. Average about 450-500km to a tank, general highway and city driving. There are 2 noticable scratches one next to the boot (aprox 2cm long) and one next to the bonet (about same length). Ill get closeup pics tomorrow. And a pin dent on the bonnet. Other than that already mentioned paintwork is pretty good. Yes i will also get better shots of the interior tomorrow. Note the wheels on the car are second hand, the front left wheel has a bit of gutter rash on it. But aprox 80% tread left on all tyres.

New wheels now put on the car to replace dinted rim. Also hit a fox on a trip to NSW and took out one of the fog lights. In the process of sourcing a new one. Still open to offers.

Car will be going in for a RWC check next week.

yeah well some people may dissagree with the price but i needed them gone. Happy with what they went for and all in all its for a good cause (another R33!) I was actually suprised to get so many tire kickers (pardon the pun).

Sounds like its stuffed then, If the solonoid is doing nothing the car will always run slightly lower boost than standard as its just telling the wastegate to open ASAP. Good luck with the next one then.

I had a similar problem a while ago when i bought a Gizmo MS EBCII. Hooked it all up, double checked everything, then tripple checked everything. Took it out for a test drive on the lowest setting and all was good. Went to turn the boost up and saw no response. Turned up a bit more and nothing. Cranked it to the max and sweet f all. Turns out there was a loose connecter in the unit that wasnt sending the controll signal to the solonoid. What i suggest trying to see if the actula controll is stuffed is hook a syringe or somthing to the sensor hose to the back of the unit and force some air into it. You should be able to get pressures well over 1 bar, and when doing this listen out for the solonoid. If its workin good the solonoide should be ticking wildy trying to controll the boost (trust me youl hear it when it works). If not then id be askin for a refund or replacment.
