Just Bought Kick A$$ Gaming Pc, What Games To Get?
AZN25T replied to 25GTT's topic in PC & Games Discussion
COD 4 is the best $70 i've ever spent on a pc game... EVER! If you like MMORPG's Age of Conan is the WoW killer, if you can get your hands on a copy. Crysis is essentially crap, only bother if you want to test your system's abilities. Best benchmark ever -

If you'd actually played the game you'd know that it's not just a button mashing fest. If you win a single PvP battle button mashing, i'd take off my pants. Age of Conan is an MMO that actually needs skill to win. None of this point and click crap to attack. You need different key presses to pump out combos which is nice, and the combat is far more realistic because you strafe/run during battle while attacking. None of this standing in one spot jabbing eachother with sticks. I'm playing the PvP assassin class, and a kill in PvP involves coating my daggers in poison, using stealth to catch the other player off guard and knifing them with a poison damage enhancment technique, by which time they've tried to flee on their mount. I whip out my crossbow as they run (all the while taking poison damage) and pick them off, dismounting them from their horse/rhino or whatever it may be. I return to stealth and just when it has appeared they've escaped, I lift the cloaking, delivering a final blow. Try doing that with button mashing. AoC is the WoW kiiller no matter how you look at it; with half a million players within the first week and a half and not a single copy left on shelves at retail at the moment, you cant go wrong getting into it.

Incorrect. The TV must support NTSC format. Australia runs on PAL but you should be right mate, most TV's these days support both PAL and NTSC formats. The PS3 games are 100% region free, no worries there. The blu-rays however are region encoded.

Sounds like the O2 sensor to me mate. Thats what it was for my car at least.
-
Personally wouldn't touch them. I was promised a certain price on a car by a salesperson and I had to argue with the manager to make them honour it. Another salesperson was very rude to me and wouldn't allow me to test drive the car I wanted to buy because he was too lazy to move the car parked behind it. Maybe I caught everyone on a bad day, but that's my experience with them. And I agree with you on prices mate, they kept trying to tell me 20k for a stock 180sx was a bargain
-
VERY VERY mice mate, where'd you get that bonnet and how much?
-
By the looks of it, anything with a stock front bar Looks brilliant mate, a very clean exampe!

I'm glad my posts have been able to help out so man people At the moment I'm playing Zelda, Final Fantasy III, and Pokemon Diamond. Just finished Mario vs. DK (freakin awesome). New Mario Bros. was fun, but oh so short..... I recommend Yoshi's Island DS

Mark would pwn, just like he pwns at sizzler cooking and keeping all his mates off his little sister

Yep, you can play music and video(must be a certain format I think, never tried) with the R4. There's an internet browser cartridge available, but hey, you can just download it for the R4! Ozmodchips you don't need paypal. I think it's either direct credit card or bank deposit. Don't know any other sellers in Melbourne, I'm a Brisbanite. I've got a black DS... fingerprints are a bitch... white wouldn't have as much of a problem I guess
-
I've personally never dealt with dealsextreme.com, and for some reason I can't load the page. But yeah, Ozmodchips are really reliable and you'll get an english r4 with the latest firmware from them. I just bought one for a mate from them

Too right, I use THIS SITE to find mine. But you can just google "Nintendo DS roms" or something and any site will do.
-
To transfer games, I just use an SD card reader. They're cheap and you can pick them up at any software/computer place. The MicroSD will come with an adapter that makes it normal SD sized. You don't need to hook up the DS Lite to anything, just take out card, put it in the SD reader, drag and drop the rom files on to the card, remove card from the reader and stick it back in the DS. The $90 package is pretty damn good. With a card that size, you'd be able to fit 20-30 games and their save files. I have a 1gb and currently hold 14 games.
-
Okay mate, I can definitely help you out here. What you need to get yourself is an R4 DS cartridge. It's a cartridge that goes into your normal DS games slot that allows you to insert a MicroSD card. Once you do this, you can just drag on NDS game roms from any of the popular emulation sites on to the MicroSD and run them just like a normal DS game. THERE IS NO PATCHING/HACKING OR CHIPPING REQUIRED!!! Just buy the R4DS cartridge and a microSD and you're set! You can buy one from HERE! They're always sold out, so put one on order. Usually takes a week or 2. Official R4DS website All that's left is to enjoy your 100% free and 100% working DS games, as well as music and movies. All thanks to a $50 cartridge

I dunno what's so funny about 5k for a car that doesn't necessarily have an engine. I would think an 180 minus engine would go for around that.
-
I downloaded the demo on Xbox Live, worst 1gb of download I've ever used. Car line up is the only thing I actually LIKE about the game unfortunately

Cos they're some of the best damn chicken wings I've ever had!!
