Turbo Dave

I was thinking the same thing with my Ohlins but decided just to replace them, lucky I did in my case because those spring are just to harsh for a 100% street driven car.

I went for the 8kg Front and 6kg Rear as per the site and it seem good for the short drive I did today after install. Compared to what I had in there they are like silk..LOL Just need to set my heights back to where they were and play with the dampening a little bit.

This is what I was after, My Jap Ohlins that came with the car when I got it are terrible.... Lose my breath on some bumps! Just ordered with JJ so we will see soon!!!!

Any more info on the clutch?? Price? Age? Type?

Are these BC's Kidney Bashers as the Jap ones in my GTR now are killing me on every bump and the Left rear has a Bad Bang in it so they are Fooked. Thinking of getting a set of these, mainly do Around Town driving and a bit of Highway on occasions... Are they easy to live with in normal conditions??? Cheers Dave

My ATS Twin Plate Rebuilt by JB is in transit, after speaking with Jim I'm sure it will do everything I want it too for a very long time. Come with insurance in the form of Front Gearbox Seal and Rear Main Seal, Awesome to deal with and Quick turnaround!!!

I pulled the clutch from my R33GTR but can't find the throwout bearing, it's been converted to a pushtype and I'm going to be putting a HKS triple in and need to know what throwout bearing I will need(The other one was buggered anyway). Anyone able to help??

I pulled the Kick Panel off my GTR today, when I bought the car I was told it had a MIMO Piggyback (Dunno What that is) but cant actually see anything that looks like an ECU of any kind only a little brown box with some heavy gauge wires coming out of it, Plenty of Splicing though!!

If your BOV vents to Atmo it will stall!!!

Mine did a similar thing to this when I had it, I got a VG30 exhaust housing fitted up and it went away, also pulled harder up top but was a little laggier.

I got my Bronze Rota Grid Drift's today, Very happy with the finish and look similar to the Te37's. They come in Matt Black too!! Will get em on my car in the next few weeks and put a pic or 2 up after the clutch goes back in and its on the ground again. Cheers Dave

Well we got the gearbox out with the dumps still on so thats a bonus, and another bonus (I Hope) was the twin plate I found in there. Yeah its buggered and slipping but I'm hoping its rebuildable, Anyone heard of a ATS Carbon Twinplate? Has two fully carbon plates that sit over a toothed hub on a Custom looking flywheel. Dave

Thanks guys. Yep big ass stainless dumps. Got the 1st one with the long extention and uni joint at the socket end. Wil give the last one another go tomorrow after work as I wanna the wornout twin plate off for a rebuild. Heavy!! That's an understatement.

Is ot possible to get the box out without taking the turbo dumps off? I was going to remove them but the nuts at the bottom are all rusted and ceased, I only have one more bolt on the top of the bellhousing to go, has anyone got the left Hand bolt from the right hanx side or am I attempting the impossible?

Are these the right offset for an R33 GTR??

I recently took delivery of my new (New for me anyway) R33GTR and has 20x10.5" wheels and I want to sell and put the original 18's back on, but the car only came with 3 of the Buddyclubs that where on it, one was damaged beyond repair. Looking for another one to make a set, From what I measured I think they are 18x10" with 20mm offset (Does that sound right?). Anyone have one they want to get rid of? In gunmetal grey would be great but not critical. If I can't get another one I will be selling the 20's and the Buddyclubs to others that might be in the same position as I to fund another set of 18's. Cheers Dave

PaulR33, As per your signature, In the real world where would the GT2860 -9's start to pull? I am about to pickup an R33 GTR in a week or so and am after effortless Clubsport eating power???? I am sick of these V8 meatheads telling me that turbo's are Lag Monsters!! Cheers Dave!!
