  4. I havent been here that long but a hiflow seems to be the go on the street, just got mine done and am getting it tuned very soon. No mods required either just unbolt and bolt back on.....much cheaper also Dave
  5. Got the Hi-Flow on tonight, havent boosted over 2psi and it already sounds wicked!!!! Doesnt have that wraspy air sound anymore, just a smooth whistle.........Yummy!!!
  6. Just a thought, If i put injectors in it will be rich right!!! then if I connect Z32 it will read a lower voltage and lean the motor so it might go closer to a running mixture to just putt onto a trailer and off again. Then all it needs is the Emanage hooked up and go....I guess
  7. I am getting my car tuned in the next few weeks (workshop permitting) and want to know....... If I fit Nismo 555cc injectors while still running the stock afm and ecu, Will it start and run well enough to put it on a trailer and move it around? Or will it fuel up and just die? Going to fit Emanage and Z32 are at time of dyno. Cheers Dave
  8. Need to soft mount the solenoid to reduce noise.
  9. Getting excited now, have just sent turbo to be hiflowed... been told its getting a TO4 compressor and 56mm exhaust wheel, dunno what that means really but it sounded good....Bigger than whats in there I bet so thats a bonus. Next are injectors then off to the dyno I go. Dave
  10. My Old XR6T with me in it was 1820kg.....Im about 85kg..so 1735kg with 1/4 tank. My Mates XR6T Ute on the same day was 1860kg with noone in it.......Wierd!!!!!
  11. How much power do you want?? Here Read This http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Wa...55-t204507.html If you want a walbro I have a brand new one for sale...$150posted Dave
  12. Are S15 injectors hard to source?...What size/cc are they?
  13. OK, I guess that will be the answer Im going to get from the majority.... They say it only the depth that varies.......Out with the Shovel
  14. I have a Nismo Pump, Nismo Fuel Reg,Highflow and a Z32 on the way. Wanting 250rwkw...Should I do the injectors or max out the stock ones as I have been told it will work no problem? My Gut tells me to get em but my wallet and wife says "Use the ones you've got" Help!!!!! Is it too much of a risk??? Dave
  15. After watching this thread for a lil bit I had just bought a walbro pump due to the signifigant saving, but my pride and joy is not worth risking on a maxed out fuel pump so im getting a Tomei pump instead, Will this outflow 555cc injectors @ 250rwkw?
  16. What else can I do but ask questions on a dedicated skyline forum and decide from there what to do from there, not like I can go to Autobarn and get an educated answer. WOrp3D....How you suggest I control my boost, Your quick to stereotype me, How about something constructive. I have ProfecBs2, With it turned off as I said before it boosts to 14psi, Too high for stock turbo IMO. I can get it to hold lower boost but It laggs too much as I said before.
  17. When I bought it I was told it was adjustable from about 5psi upwards...thats why I bought it!!
  18. I recently bought a adjustable HKS actuator and am lead to believe I can get my boost as low as 5psi with it. I fitted it and screwed the shaft until it was just holding the wastegate shut, no spring tension at all just held the gate shut and fitted the eyelet over the wastegate mount. I turn the boost controller OFF went for a run and it boosted to 15psi. I then turned screwed the rod out until it would only reach about 6psi, but now it is SUPER laggy cos the gate is open a bit even off boost. I would assume that having the gate shut is the idea to get quick spoolup, but then it overboosts Screw it out and its a dog.......WHAT DO I DO? BTW.....Stock S2 R33 with a few bolt on mods, Emanage not yet fitted!
  19. Most V8's do have a full Twin Exhaust, but on a skyline I think it would be a waste of time and weight. If you want it just for the looks just split into a T-piece at the back and have 2 pipes just at the back. This is a Late Model Monaro...Full Twin. They also use this method where they have joiners in 1 or more places, something to do with equalisation of airflow or something, not entirly sure. But still a full twin non the less
  20. Im looking for someone with experience in tuning my car as I only want it done once. When I get it done its going to have GTRS Kit, Full Exhaust, CAI, FMIC, 550cc Injectors, Nismo Pump, Splitfires, yada yada. I am in southern NSW but am willing to travel as long as its worth it to get the job done right. Any recomended tuners??? Cheers Dave
  21. Sell your T66 and put a 2835 or GTRS kit on there that would be what you are after I think.
  22. Thats exactly what I have found, I have FMIC, Full Exhaust, Apexi Pod and boost controller. It actually runs worse than stock in my opinion and burns a heap of fuel, so if you were planning on doing mods make sure some kind of ECU is in your 1st purchase to tune what you put on.
  23. Is the Z32 AFM a direct bolt in replacement for the standard AFM in an R33 Series2? And will the Apexi air pod bolt onto it? If not, would I be better off getting a pressure sensor for to run with the Emanage Ultimate And run it that way? Will be running a 2835 kit at 250rwkw. Dave PS. Yes Birnie, searched to the best of my ability but couldnt find an answer.
