  3. A Mate of mine is running 33psi on his VL, Seems to go ok @10.34. But NO His motor isnt stock......

  5. Birnie...GUILTY as charged, but I thought a new ones would create some interest. I boost it once or twice each time I drive it and I drive mine every day, and yes...With the EBC on there the stock turbo spools up at the slighty throttle input. I havent even looked at checking or getting the O2 sensor!!!..Should I????, Or is there a way to clean it and make it work better? maybe I will do a search Birnie....hehe. How much is a new one? I have done the reset thingo a few times but seems to make no difference.

Ive got a few bolt on mods to my R33 and its gettting very bad Fuel economy, Im only getting 280km per tank on 98 octane, and to top it off its running like crap cos its not tuned for the new setup. Question I have is how far can I expect to go after I get the new 2835 fitted and tuned at around 260rwkw or so. Highway and around town figures if ya now what you get???? Or litres per 100 would be good. Mine is getting 14L/100kms on flat road at 110kmph............ Dave

  9. As I have have recently found, In standard form they boost around 5-7psi but when you open the intake and exhaust it flows better cos it has less restriction, so inturn boosts harder. If you plug a hose straight from your actuator to your intake pressure nipple, whatever that reads is the lowest it can go. Mine has Cold airbox, FMIC,and Full Exhaust and 12psi is the lowest I can get. Hope this helps. Dave

  12. I have an Apexi Power Intake, FMIC, 3" exhaust and Emanage Ultimate. Im wanting to make 250rwkw, What turbo will make this with similar spoolup to standard? Is it even possible? I dont want to do any engine mods at the moment should I want to later I would only want to buy one turbo not another one later. I've been recomended onto a GT3540. Would this be a good turbo for what I want? Cheers Dave
  13. Ok Ok, Just read the Tutorial, and if Im understanding it right, If i have everything set at zero and im still boosting to 12.5psi,thats the lowest I can go? I've read that its not safe to do so on a stock S2 turbo! Could my actuator be stuffed??
  14. When its at about 3500-4000rpm it holds about 10psi but if I hold full throttle, When it reaches 6000 or so its boosting to 13-14psi. Shouldnt its hold the 10psi i set??

  16. I put a ProfecB SII On my car and have set it 0% in Low and Hi. But it still boosts over 10psi according to the LCD screen, I have the start Boost at 0, and the Gain on 10%. Before I fitted it it used to boost right on the middle notch of the factory gauge which I beleive is about 5-7psi. If I set it 0% will this get me the lowest boost setting possible? I am trying to get 7psi in Low and 10-10.5psi in Hi! The car is a R33 S2 auto and has stock motor and turbo but has 3inch exhaust, fmic and Apexi Power Intake. Would the car be boosting higher due to the free flowing setup compared to standard? Any Suggestions appreciated. Dave.
  17. Just had a quick brouse of this thread after some time offline, and just want to ask if these coilpack voltages are applicable to my S2 R33 auto? I have the Ultimate with plugin Loom..Is this all I need to get it running or do I need one of these Minibox thingo's?? Not real good at the electronics side of these things!!!!!! Cheers Dave
  18. Ceramic turbine and Nylon plastic compressor!! You can block it off but i will stick with the stock BOV. I blocked it the other day and it chattered everytime I backed off .The air isnt going back through the turbo is just cant go forwards while th turbo is still winding down from being on boost, so its creating a hammering affect against the compressor (Like turning off a tap to fast and you can hear it hammer back though the pipes). If you want noise put a pod and airbox on, want stealth leave it alone!
  19. ebay special so it doesnt seal up perfect but its not bad, but it draws air through the hole where my old intercooler return pipe was on that side.

  21. HELL NO!!!!!!! Wash you mouth out! It aint no Rappy. Its an X-Cell Stratus 90! I know its sucking but its VERY loud, just thought it was odd is all.
  22. I recently put an apexi pod and cold airbox on my R33 GTS-T and now there is a very loud intake noise!! Is this normal? Its a very airey type of sound not a whistle any info?? Cheers Dave
