  1. I had the same trouble today and found that my boost solenoid was unplugged, Plugged it in and now I get the full standard boost over 4500RPM. Heres where mine was unplugged right behind the air box........
  2. *UPDATE* At first I was told that the solonoid gave the car low boost in 1st and 2nd gear then full boost in top cause mine is auto. But it seems that the guys on here are right and I plugged it in again took it up over 4500 and can definantly feel the difference in power and the boost is a bit higher on the gauge also, dunno why the previous owner would have pulled it off(He simply unplugged it). Now it pulls great up top and even better when the Profect B goes on soon . Thanks again for the link and help guys!!
  3. Thanks Mate!!
  4. I dont have a boost controller and the standard one is unplugged at the moment, plugged it back in and it didnt seem to be any different but I didnt rev very high 4000-5000 maybe. Can I bypass it al together and run a hose straight from the intake pipe to the actualtor and get full boost all the time??
  5. So with it disconected it does what???
  6. Can anyone tell me what this plug does? It goes to a solonoid thats connected to the boost control lines BUT was dissconected when I picked the car up 2 weeks ago. It still runs fine but just want to know what it is.
  7. Only reason i asked about the BOV was cos it has vaccum aswell as boost pressure, but the way it was before it could only get boost pressure!!! So I just wanted to make sure it was OK before I kicked it over.
  8. Thanks for that, might see what a drill tap and loctite can do!!
  9. Just fitting my new JJ FMIC and am wondering where others have conected the Boost control hose that operates the actuator? I have tapped into the BOV line for now and am wondering if that is good enough or not right at all? I havent driven the car yet cos its not quite finished (Too noisy for the grinder this late) but want to know of any other methods!! Cheers Dave
  10. Dont worry, saw it in another post you put up.
