  3. We use this guy to do all our interior trims at Audi. Has a lot of prestige and restoration stuff there. Very good work. Blackman
  4. You will always get testers with different leniencies. If it is straight transfer and for you a lot of testers are more lenient. If you are selling I find they are more harsh (sometimes a lot more harsh) We have been audited 2 times in past year and have another next week. They are really cracking down and missing/disregarding something as small as a windscreen defect is not worth the risk.
  5. Common in Fords and Holdens when hot weather and hot motor as the metal in the engine speed sensors 'warp' so to speak in the heat. Not common for nissans.
  6. Check for air leaks. What have you looked for, tested etc? If nothing then send it to a mechanic. If your not keen enough to throw your head in your engine bay to find a problem before asking people then don't bother.
  7. Look in traders section. Not that hard to use the forum. Coils were mentioned
  8. Im guessing this is what you have said to the people from different workshops and this is why you have got different advice on a large scale... Don't talk to everybody from different workshops. This will eliminate a lot of your problem. Find reputable workshops and speak to the owners/tuners. You have not given any detail to what you want from the car at all so nobody can really comment.
  9. The trick is that there are 3 bolts holding it on
  10. Don't bother with plenum or manifold... as said Use that money for oil cooler, fuel pump, boost controller, Z32, possible coils. How's the diff? Suspension? Brakes? Nismo 555's will do the job Tomei Poncams.

    Need Help

Got one though from western suburbs - work in Bentleigh 5 days a week. shoot PM if you like.
  13. As above definately not 2.5k worth of damage... You said it happened one day since full service. What was done at the service?
  14. If you want a 'brake kit' just because it is squealing, don't bother. Rectify the issue of it squealing. Could be shims missing on back of pad, dust, foreign objects, pad compound, low pads etc The people who 'fix brakes' and say it is common are people who can't be f**ked looking at your car. I have looked at a few with squealing issue but it is by no means common or normal. Take it elsewhere. If your looking for better performance from your brakes let us know and people will be able to recommend brakes that may suit you.
  15. Whats your budget? What do you want to use car for? circuit, street, drag etc What R33 skyline is it? Gts?Gtst?GTR? We can't guess everything

    Gran Turismo 5

LOL maybe she didn't do anything wrong but if your willing to try your luck, tell her you can't believe she didnt get you the G27 steering wheel.
  17. Cost way too much to do it... CA18det best bet. Absolute piss to do and still make decent power for next to nothing ($$$)
  18. There are still plenty of nice cars around which will drop in prices just like the 90's Imports did. I think your just disappointed that they are not the 90's imports that we all love. holden SS, Clubsports G6e turbo's, typhoon even XR6 turbo (give that 5 more yrs and it will be the next VL turbo) 370Z Audi S5 Mercedes and BMW have so real nice cars. these cars won't be staying at 50,000-100,00o forever. Ideally I don't think people are driving there cars as hard as they used to on the street and a lot of my mates are selling their imports for european cars that still have a bit of a bite and getting 7-10L/100km. (personally I think they are making huge upgrades)
  19. RACV... R33 GTS-T more then half the price for premium then Just cars and Half the price for excess then Just car with choice repairer etc. Also do pay by month if that is more affordable.

    Gran Turismo 5

Came home to it on thursday with a note saying "because I love you, not because you made me" so to the mrs. I think its good. Have to play it more to see if its great. One thing I have noticed in arcade mode is there is no damage??? Can this be changed??? I hit a wall at like 150km/h then bounced onto track and kept going. I thought maybe damage is only in career mode but have only done licence driving in career. Now I need to go buy a wheel and hook it up to the net.
  21. Organise one urself, just dont expect a good turnout with such little notice and weather. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Or...nt-t164533.html
  22. Agree TTRS is overpriced but TTS is good car, just have problems with their S-Tronic gearboxs. So if he is getting manual I think the Audi is greater then the 370Z and 335 hands down though. S4 is my favourite audi for sure, he will have to replace his water pump when it leaks (0-5000km) unless already done. Apart from that and usual S-Tronic issues, oh and bluetooth control unit shitting itself, great car!!! If he is no rush Audi RS3 will be here next yr, slightly less poofy then TT-S but more of a chicks car. That will be powered by TTRS motor. Has he looked at S5? or RS4 (b7)??? Used cars but definately around TTS price.
  23. Brand new are expensive... Dont even bother ringing nissan. Used may not last long at all. Best off getting a changeover or getting yours reconditioned You would be looking around $200 give or take. Something to think about If you hadn't.
