  1. Massa, poor C***
  2. The compression looks a little low but the Leakage seems to be massive. My gf's 33 had no more then 1-3% leakage across all cylinders. I have been told if it begins to go above 10-12% then it is getting high. Did the mechanic try putting some oil into the cylinder to check if it was rings?
  3. LOL was some nice angle.
  4. Very Very Nice! I love the colour!! Who did you get to do them?
  5. Get it checked by a workshop of friend with a mechanical pressure gauge, as the standard one may be faulty. It is always good to know for piece of mind
  6. LOL I had a similar scenario about a month ago though the car was in for a 20,000 though it was on 136,000 and also 2 years later, though the oil was quite thin, but I would not say water thin. Still had the original sticker to be serviced at 20,000 on it. But that isn't to say it wasn't done by someone else. As far as the engine oil breaking down to be as thin as water. The viscosity will break down in the oil the more use it gets but to what extent I cannot say.
  7. Don't bother with the plenum, I reckon you should just get a Larger turbo, put the injectors in and tune of course. What does your tuner recommend??
  8. Go through the Yellow pages and find places that you would be keen on working for and send your resume to them whether or not they are looking. If it comes to 100 resumes then you just have a better chance of getting a job.
  9. Revenue. They can make $10,000 out of it. good call
  10. You will probably want to do the spark plugs again after putting the new turbo on as all you have done is put new spark plugs on and drive the car again with the rooted seal.
  11. What power you after? I'm guessing you want to hit 300rwkw if not close to it. I reckon sell your hi flow, don't buy a plenum and buy a bigger turbo. As nismoid said
  12. They certainly have some of the nicest modified cars over there.
  13. Then you should advertise that on your ad for sale, as I said most parts could be bought cheaper. If you add that you are guaranteed to have more interest.
  14. Well you got quoted 1500 to fix radiator support and front reo... Then someone has to buy all the other parts, bonnet - 200 Guards - 150 each front bumper - 250 reinforcment bar - 150 (if they dont supply it in the quote) radial support frame - 100 (if they dont supply it again) guard linners - 50 headlights - new 1200 - second hand 400 Grill - 80 Of course some parts could be bought cheaper, though some more expensive. now that is just shy of $3000, Without paint. So $7000 (without paint), when some auto series ones are going for $7500. At that price only a panel beater or someone stripping it will benefit in my opinion Ontop of all this the buyer has the headfcuk of finding all the parts, organising and waiting for the car to be fixed. I hope you get what your asking for it but as said, it will most likely be a panel beater/painter.
  15. Don't like it. No WOW factor at all. Much rather a S15
  16. My opinion, neither. But if I had to choose, Trust option for sure
  17. Seal in turbo has maybe let go. It has been on the way out which is why u have had oil through cooler piping etc,
  18. Oh this reminds me, on sunday I was driving behind one of those log trucks that carry the tree trunks. Was sitting about 3 cars off his arse just to freak the mrs out. Though I have to admitt I got a little freaked out too Final Destination have to be up there on my list.
  19. As above or check all cooler pipes done tight
  20. Standard airbag is still in the car. As far as when u can see the car, his number is there.
  21. Clean car, good mods, good price Free Bump.
  22. Easier, of course. More effective, I would say so, (they are professionals) Though cost more, Yes. I just painted r33 Stockies gloss black. And they came up sweet. If you don't mind doing a bit of labour, are patient and half smart then paint it yourself. though if you are a perfectionist who doesn't have an eye for detail then get them painted. Though as you said, it may cost more for the wheels to be painted then buying them so you may end up paying as much as you would for real nice 2nd hand wheels or brand new ones. I say DIY to save some cash and when people go "they are nice", you can say "I did those"
  23. Spotted RB26N1 on keilor park drive. 9pm'ish 4 door 34. sounds tuff
  24. LOL good call. GTS' can still be Guns Nice plates
