Any part of the exhaust is worth upgrading, the stock dump will restrict the exhaust so get a 3 inch dump and then you have your self a free flowing exhaust. Should see a bit of power gain but nothing huge.

Same all round will of course give better treadwear. The large/smaller OD will change the gearing of the drive and treadwear a little so i wouldnt do too much. I have read somewhere 3% max difference.

Nothing wrong with looking ahead. Best to ring the insurance company, you should get more information from them then their site. I dont know what insurance companies do it but i know they do. Might not be 5% but may be options like drives 2 hours a month etc. My next door neighbour had it for his 300zx and then had a claim and they asked my dad who drove it. He was smart enough to say the parents.

It will end up cheaper if you put it down as you use the car 5%... so the insurance company think its "mum" driving it and you use it like once a month. But i know couple of people who have had claims with this and the insurance company came around to neighbours asking who drives the car etc...

Good points put across in this thread though like Cubes said If the pump starts to play up get it fixed, You will realise when it starts to die. This is what i meant for waiting till it goes. But either way your going to get a new pump, so if you have cash and dont need it for anything in particular go for it!!!

Yes straight fit for fourth time I did this and it was easy to undo the bolts but couldnt pull the spoiler off so i ripped it and snapped all the plastic clip things... So it now doesnt have the clips. The two bolts on either side hold it fine though and hasnt had a leak to date. Good choice on the S2 spoiler, Looks much better. Try and get it with the rubber seal that goes between spoiler and boot, if not the S1 one might need some trimming.

The 6 speeds are much weaker. Would it handle 300ish... Yes. For how long. Not long. Most guys will downgrade/upgrade to the s14 box when they develop more serious power.

I have asked about this, whatever state your car is registered in or state you are licenced to then you abide to those laws... for example if you are a P plater from VIctoria and can do 110 but NSW can only do 90 you are able to do 110 in NSW.

Buy my stock rims... 16 X 225... Tyres got 95% tread. 300 for the lot.

Saw this car too though on melton highway other week... Was mint as!!! He spun em up alright from 50km/h roll on, and it had some pretty wide ass tires.

Any car around 2000... old magna, corolla, camry... save your money, then when your off your P's go for something like a GTR, XR6 turbo, 03 WRX, s15 JDM Thats what i would do. But if you had to go turbo, S14 or even MR2. I would say 32 but you used to have one so i would go for something different.
