My experience with it is I could remove back seats though seat-belts and buckles must also be removed. Had to be taken to VICroads for inspection that is all. I had sound deadener and rear trims removed. Said nothing. VICROADS REGULATIONS

Hey guys thought I would put this in motorsport section just because I was interested in peoples views on SAU. Speak to a lot of mates who are very 'MEH' on the topic of taking their cars to the track. Feel free to obviously express other things that are not in poll.

Audi DSG's (S-tronic) are far from reliable. Worked for Audi for 4 years. VW supposedly have same issues on their cars, but that's just from talking to VW techs. (no personal experience on them) VW/Audi and others share a lot of the same parts on their vehicles. Apparently Audi have a revised clutch kit which will fix the issue. We were doing about 1-2 DSG/S-tronics a day and diagnosing prob 5 a day for jerking,shifting hard etc. We got to the point that we would stop rebuilding them (replacing clutches) because the new ones we were putting in were not the revised part and of course was an ongoing problem. If buying Audi/VW I would ring up a service centre and ask to speak to the Foreman and quickly ask him his opinion on whether issues are still happening/is the revised part out and on what models/build date. I resigned DEC last yr and problem was not fixed and could easily ask boys from old work when it is if people are keen on the info. I think Audi's are a wicked car just a shame their S-tronic (dual clutch) gearbox's let them down.

I had same issue with 33 but closer to A-pillar. I Got business cards and placed them under windscreen seal then masked drop sheet to the business cards. Then ran tape along door - roof trim. Sanded it down lightly with 800 W&D. Then Hit it lightly with body filler, sanded back with 1000 W&D gave it one coat of primer cause didn't go back to metal. Then 1000 W&D again. Then coat of paint, Sand back wet with 1000W&D. repeated twice, then hit it with clear and 2000 W&D. I am not in the paint/panel beating trade by all means but when people say you can't use a pressure pak I tell them to show me where I repaired the roof and they never get it. Just done my 180 bonnet and headights with pressure pak cause i'm a dodgy **** and it's a drifta but people still say good results for a rattle can. I'm heading out for a BBQ but when I get back I'll see if I can gather some photos up.

Electrical power. Loose everything, power steering in particular which sucks when u got one hand on wheel and other on handbrake. Then when I go to get on gas nothing for quite some time sometimes. Weird cause like i said only and handbrake entries. Does it left hand or right hand aswell. Has turbo timer but not hooked up to handbrake so that isn't an issue either.

I have the same issues. Only on handbrake entries in car, will shut off then come back to me a split second or several seconds later. Ended up finding battery terminal loose. Couldn't pull it off the battery post but could spin it with a fair bit of force. Tightened up lower on post, still yet to test it. Hope that's it anyway. Would not happen on transitions.
