Hi people Theres a GTR 33 in the autotrader on page 196. Its painted in a bright blue colour - never seen one that colour before - looks to be custom paint job. Add lists the following mods: HKS xhaust Single Turbo Conversion, external wastegate 18x10 Advan wheels (white in colour) Wolf ECU Nismo seats Does anyone know this car???? Or anything about it. It seems to usual for no one not to notice or now about it. I may be interested in it. Daniel

rob77 Im a big believer in buying reputable Japenese products (FMIC inparticular) over locally made stuff. For the simple fact that companies like HKS and Apexi (im not talking all Jap brands here) spend millions on reserch and development - testing flow, cooling efficiency, end tank design, etc... I would always purchase a researched and tested product over one that a local shop whacks up..having said that I do believe that their are a few aussi shops that make outstanding products. At the end of the day I would also pay more for the Jap stuff than the local stuff. Daniel

Bass Junky The Apexi GT coolers are AWESOME........ I speak in regards to wrx's here (but their quality is outstanding over all products so it would be safe to say the the same coupld be said for a skyline) They OWN Trust coolers - the reason that not many people run them is that they are a little harder to fit - on a rex they require the battery moved and some chopping on the front bar. The addition farking around is well worth it in the long term as the coolers are superior. The reason the Trust coollers seem to be more popular I believe is simply a matter of Simplicity and looks. As the Trust coolers are alot easier to fit and come in that slighty polished look which the ricers love, where as the apexi has a silver mat finish..... Daniel

Ive got tough decision to make... Having a HIGHLY modified GTR inspected in Adelaide on the weekend - so waiting to see what comes of that..... but my first choice is a local car - im currently talking to the guy to see if we came swing a deal... very special car.... That is all im saying for now - dont want to jinx it... ;-> Daniel

Im with mist Bendix are Ok for what they are - a budget performance pad... but nowhere near suitable enough for a GTR. Look at alternatives such as Ferrodo, Endless or Green stuff. Yes they cost more - but to many people are willing to spend mega dollas to make the car go fast - but tight wad on stopping quality. Do your self a favour and give the bendix a miss. Daniel

How where they preposterous........ All I stated was the truth as YOU stated it in you post. Fair enough he's getting in the shit for some things he may or may not have done... but he DID loose his icense on his P's, and after just getting it back he did get done for speeding, and then he did blow a high B A level...... Listen im no saint on the roads, but ive never lost my license... ive been close, but been smart enough to realise that when i only had a couple left I had to be very careful and take no risks ..... Sorry to be harsh ... but your mate sounds like a dickhead. * Hes on his P's * Gets done for Dangerous driving * Gets license back (not really) * Gets done for speeding. * Gets done for DD (he claims he was off his P's) Listen even taking the DD incident out, he's proven to be a nightmare driver on public roads... sorry to say but our roads would be better off without twats like this on the road. I hope he doesnt get done for the DD charge - as long as what your saying is true..... BUT - if a JUDGE told me I lost my license for a year, and then a shit kicker in a gov department told me otherwise - i'd be asking for something in writing. Dan
