With the bendix - brake really hard 2 or 3 times in a row a watch those babies fade badly. If you drive like a old man there fine - but being performance enthusists id imagine that people like to give it a squirt. A better brake pad really comes into its own in situations like cruises when you sometimes do things you normally wouldnt - that extra security is wirth the extra 100 bucks..... Daniel

Bendix are SHIT Go to Perth Brake Parts in Welshpool. Get some Ferrodo's or ebc or green stuff. The belief that bendix are good pads is a JOKE. HEy boys Thanks for your opinions... I have found a R33 GTR that i love - making 600+hp in the eastern states. If the guy comes down on his price (which is not likely) i'll fly over have alook and buy it if its sweet. BUT It looks like the EVo path will be the way to go - Im currently looking at a evo with a motec ecu, dms50 struts, whole lot of other mods. Which ill be able to buy for mid 40's which will leave me enough to but the TD06-25G turbo kit. So ill have a killa evo that will run 11's easily. Daniel

Hello People Ive sold my WRX.. and am looking for a new car. My new car will be one of the above two. Both have there strengths and weakness - im just looking for some honest opinions and advise (im not after bullshit claims). I was going to get the GTR, but I have swung over the the evo 6.5 - due to the fact that they are: * Aust Delievered (not import) * Are very rear and are alot newer (2000 - 2001) * Are more compact * Are a fantastic handling car * And have a fantastic engine with forged internals ( rb26 is great as well) Opinions people, any advise, any gurus willing to share their knowledge or experience !!! raasclaaat - I tend to disagree - These are only baid aid solutions and are not comparable to full replacement ecu's. Niz - you've save $450 bucks - keep saving your coin and do it properly, might take a bit long but its a long term solution with flexibility. Your 1/4 of the way there.... Daniel

To compare a skyline (or any car for that matter) to a loved pet, such as a dog (i hate cats) is BLOODY rediculous. I have two dogs, had them for 8 and 10 years respectively and they are loved LIVING creatures.... you may put alot of time and effort into a car - but at the end of the day its a piece of metal with 4 wheels and few other bits and pieces.... That nice white r33 you saw crashed in Dianella is that one with the plates R33 GTS and the white nizmo rims. Live about 3 houses down from my place, some major panel damage to the car and 2 farked nizmo rims, even had the space saver on the back.... How quickly a car can go from sweet to shite. Dan
