  1. I pulled apart a cluster to work out how the fuel level, indicators and other warning lights work. It seems to use can-bus to communicate alot of the information to the dash, the onboard IC's then control a bunch of things. From memory speed is one (along with tach, temp, CEL, SLIP, and more). IMHO The most likely cause is probably a fault in the cluster.
  2. I am a 190cm fatty and went with a Stradia 2 XL low max in my v35. I get much more head room (especially if i remove the cushon shown in the photo, then even a helmet is comfortable and not touching the roof). It is not as comfortable as the stock seats, the bolstering makes my hip sore on long trips If the new Z's had roughly the same space as a 350z i would get one, but sounds like i will be out of luck fitting into it
  3. Thank you! Much appreciated!

  14. www.checkitout.com.au doesn't come up with a response for that VIN, so i am guessing its never been registered? A trip to either the police or your local transport department will be needed to find out if its on any stolen vehicle registers.

  21. Any information on this one? PS13-068039 thanks
  22. Hi, I have an Rb20det which i will be fitting into a car soon, i was wondering what maintenance people recommend i do? It has new spitfire coil packs, and has had the timing belt done (although i am going to check it and replace it again if it doesn't look new...). I am going to change the oil filter, and fresh oil and coolant will be used. Is it worthwhile changing the head gasket since it will be a trivial task while the engine is not in a car? Anything i might have overlooked? thanks for any help!
