RB32

Hey guys i have a 93 model rb20 with the following mods: -turboback exhaust -pod filter -turbotech boost controller also will be installing SAFC this week. My car seems 2 hesitate from around 4000-5500 revs every so often. More so since the boost went up. i have changed spark to the NGK BCPR7ES 1.1 (pretty sure thats the number) and gapped them to .9mm. i had the split dump pipe and magnaflow high flow cat installed yesterday which has made an improvement in other areas except for the hesitation. I'd like to add that it mostly happens during the day and every know and again at night. If i had cracks in the coilpacks would it be missing all the time through out the revrange or every so often like my situation. Just want certain exact areas to check berfore i clean my AFM and pod. P.s - ive been told that my ignition timing might need playing around. Could that be a possibility?? any help appreciated thanxx....

Have you guys earth the black wire? I heard it will help a bit with the smoothness when you spool up.. Overall im happy with the 22buck controller Black wire???

hey guys, i just installed this boost controller in the other day. it seems pretty good now that i have drilled the whole but 1 thing i dont understand is that i wind the nut all the way up (lowering boost) yet my boost guage shows .7bar to .75bar BUT if i was to wind it down (up the boost) my guage will show .8 .9 1 depending on how high i set it, so in other words i cant get it to stock boost. Shouldnt it be showing .5 because the boost is all the way down??? would this be because the controller isnt installed right or boost guage not reading right. MODS: cat back exhaust pod atmo BOV (apexi boost guage) any1 come across this before??? cheers

people seem to think that there might be a leak in the boost controller installation because its only happened ever since it was installed. might sound confusing but last night i took for a spin and wen i flat foot it from the start it shows full boost to .7bar then drops 2 .6bar and it climbs in the rev range slow (1st and 2nd gear) but if i was 2 put my foot down 3 quarters of the way until it hits 5000rpm then flat foot it, it runs perfect. so in other words in only happens wen my foot is all the way dwn startin from 3500rpm. confusing yeah lol i dont know whats happening....

dude i got a similar prob but no warning light appears. mods are: catbak exhaust, pod and bov ever since my manual bst controller was installed car running shit and wierd noise appears from the exhaust the car doesnt really pull anymore above 4g but my boost guage is showing .7 bar then droppin...

hey guys am thinkin about gettin a greddy FMIC so im just wondering what the difference is between that and a cheaper version (justjap).... i have been quoted a medium sized greddy FMIC (not sure on figures) piped and fitted for 1g am i better off doin that or picking up a cheaper FMIC. thanx

hey guys i have an r32 gts-t with a cat back exhaust, pod and BOV my exhaust seems 2 backfire every so often wen i release the gas or brake slightly. any suggestions as 2 why this happens. good or bad???

hey guys i own a r32 gts-t with the following mods: -cat back exhaust -BOV -Pod i got some quotes for a greddy FRONT MOUNT medium sized (dont have figures) for $1000 and also instead of a cat back exhaust, replacing it with a full turbo back exhaust and a hi-flo cat for $500 all this piped and fitted. just wondering if this would be considered as a good deal and how much max power will i be getting. thanx guys
