  1. 230rwkw got me to 180mph (UK car so roughly 290kph in Australia) but I've only got a good picture at 165mph (265kph) as the airfield was a bit bumpy for the cameraman (I'm in the RAF so got free access to an airfield at weekends!)
  2. My car ran 17.5psi on 0.8mm gapped plugs with standard coils with no problem.
  3. The R34 Radiator is rubbish, it's only 1cm thick with very narrow channels at the top. I changed mine (well I got a new core fitted) to a Modified GTR core which is 1inch thick (20fins/inch instead of the standard 8fins/inch) and mine never goes above 94'c on the PFC commander (with 240rwkw). Alothough bleeding the new radiator was a bitch, got coolant everywhere
  4. Not a dumb quote but I took my 10 year old nephew to School in my black GTT as a treat (and I had the flamer kit turned on for a laugh). As his school mates asked him about it 1 kid asked what car it was and my nephew says..................................."The Batmobile!" I nearly fell out of the car laughing
  5. 1000cc Inj's would be fine (800's are a little close to maxing out if you make a little more than 800hp).

Nice car - Top Secret Front with C-West Sides and Rear Some lowering springs would be cheaper (and better) than full suspension for everyday driving (unless you like to drive on race tracks?) - I use Trust Dowmax (35mm drop) but any make should be OK The best offset's for new wheels :- +35 to +38 on 9inch wide Rear wheels (will take 265m wide tyres) +32 to +35 on 8inch wide Front wheels (will take 235mm wide tyres) This is how mine looks on 18inch wheels with those offsets (ps I've modified my TS front too)

  9. From whats been posted before the E-Mail problem is due to their Firewall. Most E-Mails get through but a few don't (but greenline think they've sent it). E-mailing them from a different address has worked before.

  12. I love the look of the R34 which is why I chose it. It was running 350hp (250ish KW) at the wheels before a loose oil cooler hose killed the engine, so I'm now going for a 500hp (350KW) GTR engine for the reasons below - Good Points Looks - Top Secret or Impul front bar are the best Interior - better than the R33 Rarer - Less about Bad points Tuning Parts - There's lots more choice for the R33 Mapping - Mapping R34 PFC's is a joke due to no software available
  13. I've a SBC-iD on a R34GTT and mine shows vacuum but only small numbers (-12 for example not -700mmhg like the stock gauge)
  14. I'll get you the info ASAP - There's at least 1 GTT I know running 550 RB20 injectors.
  15. RB20DET injectors also fit and go upto 720cc you just need to change the plug (simple soldering job)
  16. Ed - No oil for 4km's = Broke bottom end with a loud knocking sound and low oil pressure (when filled with oil again) so I'm guessing Shells/bearings, crank, oil pump and god knows what else!
  17. Sydneykid - Unfortunately I'm having to sell her as soon as she's fixed so I need to do this as cheaply as I can but the RB31 engine could be my next project I think! Doughboy - Thats the price I've had from 4 different places. Most quote AUS$4000 just for the Labour (45hrs x $90/hr) and a further $4000 for the crank! I can get a RB26 for $5000 and get it fitted for free plus I take everything off my old engine - Turbo, Injectors etc which will get me some money back too. I'll need to get some stuff for the new engine (another AFM/Filter, GTR downpipe, intercooler piping, ECU & loom etc) before I get started.
  18. The fastest is 290Kph (180mph on my UK car) on the Autobahn in Germany but I only got the a good enough Video Still at 265Kph (165mph) as the camera was too unsteady.
  19. Hiya Dan - It'll physically fit but the hassle will be the ECU, Loom, Sensors and Wiring. I was already making 350hp on a Dynapak (at the hubs) on stock internals but if I supply a GTR engine and let the tuner keep my GTT engine he'll fit it for free (it'll be the 1st GTR/GTT in the UK so it'll be used for some advertising I expect!) I'm expecting around 350-400hp again at 1bar but it depends on the turbos I get (hopefully re-built stock ones with metal blades!) as I'd like to run at 1.2bar again. I'll have to get a new downpipe and another AFM & Filter (probably new intake pipes for the 2 turbos too!) When it's done I'll post it on here again.
  20. Hiya Meggala - I was going to sell my GTT for a 550+hp R32GTR so now I've got the option of dropping a similar powered GTR engine into my GTT I might keep it.   21. Hiya All - Due a clip holding a hose to my oil cooler failing, I've now got a a broke engine. I'm trying to decide wether it'd be cheaper to rebuild it (quoted $10,000 AUS by 4 very well known UK Tuners) or put in a RB26. Has anyone changed the engine on a GTT for a RB26 over here? I'm assuming the Loom and ECU would have to be swapped as well but else (cooling pipes, intercooler piping, anything I've left out etc) Cheers......................................................IAnH

  23. I'm running Silkolene Pro-R 15W-50 (race oil) and most of the other oils I've seen used are around 15W-50 motorsport oils. My pressure is good (+4 whilst driving) and the temp (with the same oil cooler as you) is around 1/4 on the gauge. When I first had it I used 0w-40 and it ran too thin and leaked past the turbo seals causing blue smoke etc.
  24. Hiya all - I wasn't really the bothered about going to a drag strip at 1st but now I've done a couple I'm really starting to get into it. However, even though my car is 325rwhp I still can't get get lower than a 13.9 @ 104. My 60ft time is normally a 2.4/5 sec which is crap so what am I doing wrong? Here's a Vid of 4 launches from my last drag day. My slowest time is 1st through to my fastest being last. Clicky Clicky for the Vid I've got Launch Control fitted (thats the rev limiter sound on the vids) set at 3100rpm to stop wheel spin and prevent bogging down. At the moment I haven't got any suspension mods (other than lowering springs) as I don't really know what would be best as I use my car everyday so it can't be too hard/soft etc. Cheers....................................................IanH
