    the patrol is now coming up 400 k and still tows every day. maintainence to date. brake pads and tyres. and, shock horror, i split the top tank on the radiator a couple of months back. a 400 dollar fix. I reckon I should have recieved warranty for that.

    mph v weight is a more accurate hp measure than a dyno. slicks and auto have no bearing on trap speed.

    there are pros and cons for both, the 28 will rev and sound awesome, the 30 will give you loads more useable low down street power.

    Turbo arrived on the weekend. Interesting physical comparison to the garret 37/88. Front and rear housings are both smaller and the the precision is considerably lighter but the precision out flows the garret by plenty.

    I did this conversion to my 33 about 5 years ago, those washers will give you no grief at all.

    call it what you like scot. it began life as a 25 head but its been converted to solid lifter operation to open up cam selection.
