  1. Yeah its out there Ash. I also owned a couple of monaros and various other bent 8 variants. I thought we were sposed to evolve, Not regress.
  2. I personally couldnt think of anything less fitting or more offensive for a skyline showcase than a pack of bogans doing burnouts in commodores.
  3. Definitely Roy, I was pulling for the vettes too. Great double header for chevvy in their 100th anniversary year. The fox and the hounds duel between the remaining Audi and all the peugots was some intense motorsport. They tried every trick in the book to beat that Audi but they were outsmarted. A truly great race.
  4. No but I did use revolution race gear to have my suit made. I am guessing but they probably use the same people to do the job. Its pain free and tailor made to a good fit..
  5. So it was only the sheila's ride and not the mighty N/A that copped.
  6. Drove past the venue on wednesday. The road looks like the burnout pad at willowbank raceway. I cant really find the words to describe the mentality behind it all.
  7. Put it on the rear, Linelock the car and fry the shit out of it.
  8. I'm using the old school drift cats by puma. Great slimline shoe to drive in with tons of pedal feel. What makes them good to drive in though is everything that makes them crappy to walk around in. Very thin sole and bugger all cushioning.
  9. I have been experimenting with different positions and yeah, You are both on the money. Nice and low and firm seems to be the best option. I feel like a seat with arms, They dont allow the body to move around much but I guess thats the idea.
  10. Sorted. Never used a crotch strap before. Uncomfortable or what!
  11. I am in the process of istalling a sabelt 6 point harness. The shoulder straps are easy peazy off the harness bar, and no problems with the gut straps either. Went to mount the crotch strap and struck a snag. The threaded end of the eye bolts are not long enough to go through the double skin floor on a 33 skyline. My idea is to drill a hole in the top then use a hole saw on the bottom so as to enable me to put a nut on the eye bolt using a socket. Failing that, Are there longer eye bolts (rated) available for the job. Anyone?
  12. Insane build buckna. What are the plans for the car?
  13. I thought they used the bubbles in the dash as airbags.
  14. 30 lowered to the same heoght as the 25. The problem isnt the engine height. Its the shape of the sump. Later ones were changed to compensate for the sway bar.
  15. Tow truck driver is a flamin mongrel and i hope he gets arse rheamed hell west of sundaay.
  16. Had the same problem in my 33 with the same sump. I spaced the swaybar mounting brackets where they bolt on to the chassis rail. good as gold now.
