  1. Cheers mate, yeh I know the RTA are there to help but I thought I'd ask the collective minds of SAU first
  2. Hey guys hope this is the right section I'm considering purchasing a skyline from Queensland, the car in question is engineered except for the ECU and boost controller. What am I in for and what is required to get the car over the border? Any help would be great as I'm pretty clueless with these things. Cheers Steve.
  3. Spotted at Thornleigh Maccas this evening about 11:15pm a nice Silver nissan 350Z and an awesome wide body RX8(F&F style) white with graphics and carbon fibre hood, looked great. Also spotted a white R33 on pennant hills rd after this, hope you didn't go past the speed trap too fast!
  4. I should be able to make it
  5. Let's organise one for the coming week or two, I'd be keen for a drive also
  6. Jon I think you missed what I was trying to say. I wasn't saying that you shouldn't have an alarm and immobilisor but it's pretty obvious that these thieves are not joyriders, therefore constantly telling people they should've had an alarm and giving them a hard time in a thread about their car being stolen is not really productive. And no that is not aimed at any one person in particular, just seems to be all people post in these threads and it's not right.
  7. Yeh I'll try set it up, alarms are simply a visual deterrent for joyrider thieves, nothing more
  8. To all these fools who think an alarm is the answer, wake up. One of my friends who is an auto-electrician broke into my car cleanly and then started it regardless of the alarm and immobliser while I was standing there, took him about 40 seconds and no alarm was triggered. Get yourselves a GPS track and good insurance because at the end of the day, if a professional car thief wants your car, they will get it. So stop giving people a hard time for not having an alarm when they've just gone and lost their pride and joy, I doubt very much if they posted it on here in order to get flamed by you keyboard warriors. Put yourself in their shoes and don't pay them out FFS
  9. What suspension are you running mate? You haven't listed any handling mods in there
  10. I have drifteks Also, Tyrepower.com is a distributor for them mate
  11. No, you just shouldn't be allowed to drive at all With all that weight you've added now, surely you can't actually speed in that thing anymore
  12. Hey mate, why don't u pm this guy and ask how he did his? That's an N/A but i assume it would fit a GTT also his username on here is Notorious32
  13. Makes me glad i have friends at the hornsby inn that let me park and then chain the car in Although honestly, my insurance payout would be pretty decent
  14. That happened at Maquarie Car park years ago, A mate of mine with a done up laser parked his car and went to see a movie with his GF. When he came back out, his car was on blocks, everything gone, including a large amount of engine parts. The security said they saw nothing and the police never worked it out till 2 years later, when they caught the group and 2 of the security guards were involved.
  15. Hmm maybe I should park mine there, I'll get more through insurance than if I sell it
  16. Would also like to see pics, sounds like a monster, what handling and suspension setup are you running?
  17. I'll do my best mate
  18. Damn that'll beat my Nur Spec II Very nice tho

  20. Sorry mate but 350 - 400 atw will require a fully forged engine rebuild costing around 15k and up Do a search on this site and you will find tons of threads on this
  21. Haha cheers for that vote mate
  22. Wouldn't wire wool scratch the windscreen? I'd just use a razor blade or metho myself, as previously suggested
