Spotted about 3:30 a black R32 no wing and red plates, turning into one of the side streets off salisbury rd Asquith.

Damn I feel for you, I've had that happen to mine in the past, only I found out who it was and a mate covered them in spray paint in retribution(avoiding the face of course)

PM a guy on here called Warlord, he has a carbon fibre vinyl on his bonnet that was done by a mate of his. Might be able to help you out.

Maybe I've been lucky or maybe it does come down to attitude. I work nights so due to driving around mostly at around 4am in an import I've been pulled over A LOT. On average about 3-4 times a week for a year. My car sounds angry, has gauges on the dash and not much else to give it away. So far, I haven't been defected once, I'm now on a first name basis with the local police and they still pull me over for rbts and that's about it. I've always been polite to them and they've caught me doing the wrong thing twice now(nothing crazy though) and still just wagged a finger at me. The car was black with a very modest, streamlined look to it so maybe this helped not looking like a ricer. Only once have they checked under the bonnet and poked around and they didn't hassle me over it even with the Garret turbo staring back at them. Be polite and don't give them a reason to get into you, that's my 2 cents.

I have a set of skirts of my series 1 R33 painted in maroon but could probably do with a respray, $200, let me know Oh, I'm located in Berowra, 60k(45 minutes) north of central Sydney.

I have a HKS purple inlet adjustable cam gear to fit an RB25 or 26. Just Jap sell these for $225. It's never been fitted, still in the box and packaging, you can have it for $175 if you like. I'm in Sydney down Berowra way. For the timing cover, I know psiparts.com.au do them, not sure if they do the RB26 though. Cheers Steve.

Spotted a black R32 going past the Fox and Hounds Inn Waitara at 3:30am, and a white R32, looked like a GTR at Asquith 3:45am, I was in a subaru impreza wagon.

^^^ Respect. Good answer mate, fair enough if they called 000 then. OP doesn't actually stated wether or not he called a particular station so he probably did call 000. As I said, I'm not having a go at the police, I haven't actually had a bad experience with them yet and the car is fairly modified but I can understand why the OP would be ticked off with them after going to that effort. I myself was not such a good samaritan, after nearly being wiped out the other night. After looking to see who it was with the intention of correcting them, I hurled some verbal abuse at the woman and drove off, far away from her! Near death situations will do that unfortunately.

If they were too tied up to do anything about it, it would be courteous to at least explain that to the person trying to help them out by engaging in a long phone call and following a potential drink driving fatality. Then at least you're not wasting the good samaritan's time, money or fuel. Not having a go, I just think that's pretty disrespectful. Good on the OP for his efforts. I nearly got killed the other night by a drunk driver on the way home from work.
