Oh man not extreme machines I know of people that have had massive problems with this guy. I know were not meant to bad mouth businesses but from what ive heard, there needs to be an exception to this rule. There should be a sticky in the workshop thread who not to deal with and this guy should be at the top of that list.

I have seen countless topics on max boost for the rb25 turbo, to be honest i havent notcied any larger number in s2 failures then s1 but that doesnt mean your not wrong. I have seen lots of results comparing 10psi to 14psi and the max power figure didnt change, however the midrange was improved on the higher psi runs. So then in theory if the S2 turbo spools up quicker as you say, then that would be an improvement in the midrange without needing to up the boost anyways. But thats just my opinion at the end of the day i cant say for sure but thats just what i reckon. Sauwa wouldnt be the same if i didnt get to disagree with you Bubba.

Well if thats true Nissan need a slap in the face for upgrading to a lessor item but imo i believe the S2 is the better one.

That can be a draw back with rebuilt engines, you never know how well they did it. Thats why checking where it was rebuilt can eliminate the chances of that.

do you have a copy with revs not km/h? The actuators could be faulty? Unlikely though What psi are the actuators?

Its someone elses work cause someone else manufactured the vechicle ie nissan. Just being smart there If he is like you and he wants to do the work himself then yes buying a stock one would be best but defintely not cost effective.

What am i missing here, that turbo is rated to 525hp. How is it possible for you to get that power? I have the seame turbo on my rb25 and i am getting 390rwhp Or is there just that much extra power in the rb26 head with 3l bottom end?

Put it this way here in WA at fibrevision (very well known) i paid 1100 for Paint & Fit of a full bodykit. $1500 for fitment only is a f**ken joke. Even if it was paint (stock colour) and fit thats still expensive.

What evr car anyone drives its always going to be someone elses work. If you want to make it your own, change the appearance its not as costly as performance mods. I went down that road i purchased a stock example and i made it my own appearance and performance. Would i do it that way again? No way

Be patient, keep searching these forums and all trading posts. Look for a car that has been rebuilt with lots of goodies some poor bastard wasted all there money on. Don't bother with a stock example, you'll end up being that poor bastard too. Make sure the car is tested for compression/leakdown blah blah blah, find out where it was rebuilt etc. Look for one with good interior and body. You will find the re sale value of the 33's is less over in the eastern states that is why there cheaper. Good luck.
