  1. if your car is tuned for one you shouldnt use the other as they burn at different rates and you will get detonation at high rpm. if its not tuned go for your life
  2. currently playing Fable 2 (x360) Absolutely loving it. finished sw force unleashed in 2 days prior to purchase of fable. Will get far cry 2, dead space, fallout 3 and gear 2. Man the 360 is awesome. Meanwhile my ps3 is collecting dust unless i am watching dvd/blu-ray Haven't played any games on a pc in years. If Star Wars: The old Republic mmo is only pc looks like i may use a pc again.
  3. 1R34son you sold that heaps quick i thought being an n/a it would be very hard, good work man. Where are you getting the car from. Importing and dealerships should be out of the question with the current exchange rate. driftmeister - Is there a purpose to that wing ie track or is it for look?
  4. Purchased this game on Saturday been waiting a couple of years for this one. Enjoyed the first but it was over hyped a bit But man i love this game i played close to 12 hours straight on Saturday. Haven't been hooked on a game like that since KOTOR. Anyone with a 360 that likes rpg's dont look past this one is a cracker. Anyone else playing fable 2 atm/
  5. Fifa 09 played the demo, did not like at all Pro evo 09 FTMFW I was a fifa man all my life put in pes 08 and will never go back to fifa again.
  6. If it were me i would be taking it to Dirtgarage Have a search and see his work, that many people on these forums get this guy to rebuild their engines. They seem to be very happy campers from what i have read. Good work buddy the day i need a rebuild i know where i want it done.
  7. Prices to rebuild and quality is bad in perth if you do decide to go forward crate it over to dirt garage he does awesome work at great prices.
  8. wgmg is f*kn all the trucks that spit stone chips on your freshly painted front bar. I avoid them like the plague
  9. Ah man how angry would you be. I am not saying this is true and i dont know how the physic's work but i read or saw some where that if you change direction left or right it can wack the reading out heaps. Thats why there was a huge uprawl over inaccurate multinova's when vehicles change lanes at legal speeds. Always stay in the same lane to be sure for next time.
  10. The whole point is to be practical about it. Will a gtr bar fit without doing some modification. No! Sure you can trim what ever but thats just extra time and money. A gtr has a wider front so it wont look right with a thinner gtst side body anyway. When i say it must look shit then i mean if it wasnt modified it would look shit cause the guy was stating it fits without mentioning extra work required, The whole point of this thread was to give this guy some good advice. If you all honestly believe getting the gtr bar is a better idea then why dont you say it, that was the point wasn't it.
  11. Had a guy who used to work at same place as me he had a white 33gtst 2dr. He put a carbon fibre bonnet on it, i didnt like it at all. IMHO i just think it doesnt suit white. Goes better with a vibrant colour or grey black. But if you like it thats all the really matters and it sounds like most people here think it will look good.
  12. Well it must look pretty shit then You modified it obviously which is hardly constructive to what this guy needs If you want to modify it thats fine you can get it to fit and look good but whats the point when you can buy something straight away that will fit perfect and look better.
  13. Well its not how much fat you have its where the fat is concentrated as your doc said the fat around your gut is what deposits the crap into your liver and plenty of other volitile areas. Thats quite a size for your height. I stopped playing competetive sport a few years ago and was always lean whilst competing. When you stop that metabolism just slows real fast and you find yourself getting fat and your muscle wastes away. I hate cardio if your in the same boat best to do some weights and mix in some boxing or kick boxing. I was doing muay thai and found that to get me in shape quicker then anything. Giving up food, alcohol can be impossible put you can keep doing this stuff in moderation for much longer if you get enough healthy excercise what ever it may be. Mike the old tea bag trick when spotting on the bench always does wonders for the spirit.
  14. Nice one dude Now group hug
  15. I am not even going to read peoples reply cause i am sure they will be similar to mine so i am really just reiterating. When i see any lancer other then a genuine evo with any mods such as rims, exhaust, bodykit, etc i feel disgusted. To me the biggest rice machine is a lancer. If its a chick i'll accept it. If its a bloke i feel like ripping there door open and beating some sense into the idiot. If only they realised how much of a loser they were to people they might think twice. The are complete ignorant morans who haven't learnt anything about cars. Its like a p-plater fanging it around thinking he/she is the worlds best driver. Slap them in the face for me No offense
  16. no a gtr bar made for a gtr will not fit. a gtr is a bit wider etc There are plenty of places that do gtr style bar that will git a gtst. Just remember also s1 & s2 gtst are different also.
  17. what will be your budget. Are you only interested in the 34. You could buy a nice 33gtr about the same for a 34gtt if your open to others. Just remember importing is not an option at the moment unless your loaded. So waiting for that special car at the right price can take alot of time. Importing takes ages anyway.
  18. so your saying if i put octane booster in there the car will reduce knocking? I dont think fuel can run hot.
  19. Searched but couldnt find anything relevant to my questions My car is currently tuned with bp ultimate 98 Previous to pfc on stock ecu i used ultimate 98 and sometimes caltex 98 depending on what was available at the time. Now prior experiences with both i much prefered the caltex. I definetly got more economy out of the caltex but i could not tell the difference in power. Maybe inclined to say the caltex was better for power. Now that my work has relocated there is a caltex with vortex 98 real close. So i thought i would try it see what its like on the new tune. Now the thought did go through my head "hold on this is different and the tune may not be setup for this". Then i thought "nah its the same octance level and the tuner didn;t say anything so it should be fine". I was wrong the knock levels went through the roof, After going to about 6000 the warning lights came on and the readin was 68. Now i cant really understand why. I spoke to the tuner about it and he said its cause the fuels burn at different rates. But its not really an explaination. The readings on ultimate never went about 25 no matter how hard i flogged it. I guess i am an idot for trying but there is no problem as long as i dont go into the 5000+ rpm. So basically i cant flog it until the fuel runs out which sux. Note since putting it the caltex the economy has been a dream. Cheers Pat
  20. Yeah it is a nice looking car, there is alot you would need to change though. Engine, drivetrain, transmission, brakes. It adds up and is not cost effective. Best just to get another one. Ask your self what is more important to you.
  21. N/A? My advise changes, do not spend a cent on your n/a. Sell if for a car with some power then think about making look good to match. Looks + no power = fail I wasted money on a magna n/a, although it was much quicker then an n/a skyline i regret i now.
  22. I feel for you buddy. It might be worth just selling/swapping, you may lose out but at least everyday will bring you satisfaction and not regret. Lifes to short go all out if you can
  23. you might have to lay off the piss.
