I work at Oxley and live in the Switch (ipswich)... So instead of having to drive all the way home and back down again, i might just have to see what mischief i can get up to down this way. Nah i haven't been out much with SAU yet. Just the Noosa cruise (half way) and one of the Thursday night cruises. I'm keen to cruise somewhere or whatever, i'll just go with the flow!

I'm definately looking forward to this now! lol. Cold rock, is that the one at market square? It's been 5 years since i used to live at Sunnybank Hills... No squishing me!!! I'll have a bit of time to kill between finishing work and meeting up then, cos i really don't think i could be bothered driving back to the switch and back down again.. hmmm.

Spotted a yellow 2 dr R34 on Mt Gravatt-Capalaba Road around 8am. Standard plates were ***JDX. Also spotted MRO33 on Granard Road, you drove past me while i was at the lights. I was in the bluey (NIZ013), so you wouldn't have recognised me. And also had a black 32 behind me most of the way to work, plates ***JUL.

Yeah i've got the same, carbon fibre with the chrome surrounds in mine, but mine's manual. (That would be mine, that n15m0 was talking about)

Hey stranger!!! Ahh that's the reason you moved out to woop-woop, you didn't want to do another service on my P.O.S hey??? I'm sure your 31 is in much better condition than my bluey! Thanks everyone for all your help! I posted this up on antrx.com as well, but didn't get any response. You have all been most helpful and i'll be sure to check AFM, injectors and o2 sensor (perhaps the one i got was faulty too). I'd rather spend money on buying new parts than having to send it to another mechanic and pay labour for them just trying to figure out the problem. I'll see if i can get an AFM from ABC wreckers at oxley, seeing as i work nearby, during the week and start from there.

Thanks guys. I'll see if i can get another AFM and see if that works. And if not, then i'll see if any of the guys on antrx.com can meet up to swap bits and see if that works. I had two friends with aussie u13's who just sold theirs over the past few months.

Hi guys, I know there's been heaps of threads on good mechanics wanted and recommendations etc for skylines, but i'm just wondering if by any chance anyone is able to help me out with my bluey??? Perhaps someone can offer me advice or suggest a good competent mechanic who won't charge the earth. I've decided to sell it (and therefore don't want to have to spend too much on it), however it has started overfuelling and stalling recently, which i will have to fix before i can sell it. It is pouring unburnt fuel out the exhaust, getting really bad fuel economy and is idling really rough and stalling when putting the clutch in to come to a stop. Not sure if all of this is related or what. I ran the self diagnostic mode and it came up with the code 55 - normal operation. I have taken it to my usual mechanic (who works on my 34), but they've said they don't know what is wrong with it and to take it to Nissan. I have a friend who works at Nissan, so i took it to him, but the diagnostic still didn't come up with any errors. The only thing they could suggest is changing some of the sensors and seeing if that makes a difference. But i don't want to have to keep buying parts in the hope that it might be the problem. If i was going to be keeping the car, i wouldn't mind replacing things for peace of mind, but i'd rather be spending the money on the 34. Thanks in advance, Teena

Make sure you cherish that moment, cos odds are it won't ever happen again! (unless you're considering buying it). I think the olds nearly had a heart attack seeing you driving my car.... And yeah, spotted myself driving HR31_RB20DET's R31. Also, on Saturday arvo round 5.30ish on Vienna Road, i spotted the white R32 ***HBN, which i see some mornings on the way to work.

Spotted 51PRY on pine mountain rd, holland park yesterday. I was in the black s13 going the other way. I waved, but wasn't sure if you saw me. Also spotted 31DET passage yesterday around 12.30pm on finucane road. Wasn't sure if you recognised me in the skyline as last time i spoke to you i had the u13 bluey... But still got and gave a wave!!!

I turned up for a little while at the Garden City meet in a mate's s13. We only showed up to have a look and didn't have any intention of cruising down the coast. There wasn't really that many cars there and only about a handful of skylines there.

Hahaha, that was actually training that got cancelled the other day. I was so annoyed that i couldn't go up to Noosa cos of my level of commitment to the team, to get back and find out that all the others couldn't be bothered going to training and had piked.

I would be up for this, but i play oztag on tuesday nights over at wynnum, so i wouldn't be able to do Tuesday nights. Hence the reason i've never made it to a tuesday night dinner... Mondays or Wednesdays are fine with me, but i know you can't please everyone...

I know my best friend (who was my passenger for the day) will be keen on this. He was itching to bring his 180sx out... Shame we didn't pass through any big tunnels on the way, would've loved to have heard the rumble of the RB's resonating whilst going through one!!! Oh and i'm still drooling over the R34 GTR!!! Very nice!!!
