Hahaha, Sheila, yeah thanks... Nah it wasn't me, although i do work round that area. My 34 hasn't left our garage in over 2 weeks now. I've been driving my new daily driver, VT wagon bogandore every day...

So are we still planning to leave the Hyperdome at 9am, or should we bring it forward a little???
-
Sorry we can't make it guys... Hope to catch up with you all again at the SCC. Group hug FTW!!! And no human pyramids... lol
-
A gold coasters meeting place would be great... Perhaps Logan Hyperdome???

Awesome! Last year's SCC was heaps of fun and really well organised. I will be there again this year for this one!

R34 Camber Problem (?)
Miss Niz replied to Miss Niz's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Thanks Sydneykid! I will measure my ride height when i get a chance then. Abo Bob - i got the feeling the place i went to had NFI, which is why i have posted this topic, so as to get a feel for what every one else is running. At least then when i go to take it to another place, i'll have some kind of idea if they are trying to feed me BS or not. -
My family and i can vouch for this chinese restaurant, being the best. We have been going there for birthdays and special occassions ever since i can remember. The boneless lemon chicken is to die for!!! But yeah the service can be quite slow sometimes, especially if there are lots of takeaway orders. Unfortunately i already have other plans for a work function that night, otherwise i would've been up for this! Maybe next time!

Spotted white stagea ***KEA on the Ippy M'way Darra/Oxley area just before 8.30am this morning. Damn it was hot!!! I was driving the bf's SS.

Hahaha, my bf wishes! My 34 is MINE, and i bought it long before i met the bf. He's lucky if he's even driven it 4 times in the year and a bit we've been together...
-
Hahaha yeah i know! The 34's seem to be breeding like rabbits! The 2x 34's cruising on Learroyd Rd heading up to Beaudesert Rd - would have been me (white 4dr), and the silver coupe that i spotted and was cruising alongside of until they turned left at Beaudesert and i went right. I've been driving the bf's VT SS to work lately, and so yesterday was the first time in ages that i'd taken my 34.

Spotted silver R34 GT-T ***KVK driving through Inala/Acacia Ridge, trying to get me to race a non-turbo, auto supra lol. Also spotted a silver 4 door 34 turning into Acacia St from Compton Rd.

Hi All, I've done a search and couldn't really find what i was looking for. I have an R34 GTT Sedan and put a set of 18" Nismo's on it about a year ago, along with a brand new set of Nankang NS2's. I've used Nankangs before and never really had a problem. It appears as though my sedan has lowered springs in it, which must have been done over in Japan, as i am the first Aussie owner. The passenger rear tyre (255/35/18), has completely worn through the canvas and all on the inside about 2 inches wide. The rest of the tyre still has at least 60-70% tread. The driver's side rear is no where near as bad. I replaced the tyre on the passenger side and took it for a wheel alignment today. I was told that the passenger rear was running 5mm toe in, but that shouldn't cause the problem of excessive wear on the inside. The driver's side was ok with only about 2mm toe in. Camber is running at just under 2 degrees on both sides. The wheel alignment has fixed the toe in, but i have been told that this will not totally fix my problem of excessive wear. I don't drift/race/skid the car, it is just a daily driver. The car also has no signs of any accident history at all. I've been advised that an inner adjustable camber kit may solve the problem. Has anyone else experienced this? How did you fix it? I have no intentions on going all out and spending heaps on suspension work and whatever, i just want it so that it is a reliable daily which won't chew through a set of tyres every year. Thanks!

Another 34 4door??? Yay! We should be there, as long as the other half isn't in too much pain... I might even get out and give my girl a wash before tonight...

Spotted NIZ 032 on the M1 this afternoon, just before the Ormeau exit
-
Hmmm, i didn't see your white coupe out on the track bro???? Next time give me the keys hahaha. Could've made it 12 with HR31_RB20DET's coupe or SLY 31 (Heath's) passage and gotten rid of the alfa in your group... I still love that 31 ute! Shame it went off the track at the first corner.
-
Spotted TOU63 out at QR along with about another 8 or so R31's...
-
Hope to be there, but will have to see how the other half is recovering...
-
Well the little Irishman LNG33 is now back from Irishland, and has announced that he and Sal are now engaged! A huge congratulations to you both!!!
-
Spotted white 33 "NAK13" on the Logan Motorway this morning. Love the plates!
-
Spotted you too! I knew JEZ42 was familiar, but couldn't think who's it was... Looking really nice and tidy! Tried to catch up to give you a wave but got stuck behind a damn truck and a slow as tarago just before the Darra exit which we both took...
-
Not my mate!!! And it was NOT FUNNY!!! Oh and i don't think Adam will be drinking another chai in a verrrrrrry long time. Or eating cinnamon doughnuts... lmao
-
Yeah, poor bluey... Least i wasn't hurt. Nadeem and i bought a house down in Ormeau a few months ago. Very nice area down there. Although the commute to Oxley for work everyday kinda sucks... We'll be there tonight, although we might be a little late, as my 34 desperately needs a quick wash and it's end of year at work...

Ahhh, yeah that dick in the red prelude. If i knew what car you were driving i'd have given it a go... jokes. What are you on about? i haven't ass-ended anyone before. The only acco i've had (touch wood) was the truck that hit the rear of my bluey. Somehow not the same as ass-ending. The HID's will come in time. Got plenty of house stuff to buy first though
