Baz, when you first showed me that pic of Nellie's car, i was still shaking a day later. It still gives me the shivers looking at that pic! So glad you and Den Den go out of it alive! You were both extremely lucky! I've also been hit by a truck (prime mover), in my old bluey which wrote it off, but as your dad said, the damage on my bluey had nothing on your Mazda 2! The driver of the prime mover that hit me, said he didn't see me and merged into the side of me, causing my car to spin, hit a 4wd and then get wedged against the guard rail on the ippy motorway, facing oncoming peak hour traffic, in the rain. I've got my lucky stars to thank that i wasn't hit head on and that the traffic had actually stopped. The worst thing is inconsiderate bastards who beep the horn at you and/or abuse you for holding up traffic. It's not like i planned to park my car there!!! Hope the driver of the black 33 is ok. It's not wagamama's old 33 by any chance is it??? That's the only other black 33 i know of, other than Adam and Noel's.

Count me in too!!! I'll get photos done of my 34... IF nadeem brings my bluey, is there any chance i may be able to get one shot with the bluey in the background with my 34??? Or would there not be enough time?? Just a thought. The bluey's only stock, but it would be kinda cool to have a pic of both my cars.

Thanks Irish! We're not too sure what car we're going to get yet. My bluey comes out of the workshop hopefully today or tomorrow, so he'll have that at least, until we find him something else. I also forgot that the rear of the car had been stripped too (taillights, garnish & bootlid strip), so i've added that to my list too.

It was found burnt out on Fourth Ave in Marsden. It was just in the ditch off the side of the road in front of a paddock, where there are no street lights. There are houses right across the road, but doubt they would've seen anything or heard anything as they are a fair distance from the road and have trees and bushes hiding the houses.

Apparently with some new laws or some shit, they "couldn't" chase them. If they had've then perhaps we could've had some chance of getting the car back, flogged to the shit, but never the less intact. Not sure which would've been worse really - flogged to the shit or burnt out. Or at least some sort of justice for the bastards being in possession of a stolen vehicle. But then again, they probably would've just gotten a rap over the knuckles and told they were naughty. There just doesn't seem like there is any justice in the world... Too many low life scum bags getting away with everything, while us law-abiding citizens get screwed over.

Couldn't have been us, we went to the movies saturday night and were home by 9pm. The car was taken yesterday and was already burnt out by 11pm last night. Capital punishment FTW!!! Put them in the incinerator i think.

The police said they saw the f@#$wits ripping skids in it a few hours before it was reported torched. They had removed the VY mags and put pursuit rims on it. Very awful to hear, given how well the car was always treated and looked after. It appears as though most of the interior was stripped and the calais front headlights, grille and eyelids have been taken off too. So we're pretty certain the parts will be used to convert another vl to a wannabe calais or sold off as conversion parts. We haven't been able to have a proper look at the car yet, but believe the stereo would have also been stripped out, the head deck was a pioneer, but not too sure off the top of my head what the other brands were of the sub and amp and speakers. Also, the white momo leather steering wheel appears to have been removed prior to the torching. If anyone hears of the abovementioned parts being sold, which may lead us to the bastards, please pm me.

Just had a call from the police. Car has been found burnt out in Marsden. Just went to see the wreck. Totally rooted. F$@%ing @ssholes. Nadeem and i thank you for your support guys. If anyone does have any information, please pm me if you wish to keep it on the low.

Thanks guys! I guess we're just hoping someone has seen it or knows about it, and i guess the more people who know, the more chances we have. I hope these bastards have a really rotten christmas, just like they've destroyed ours... Pricks!

Yeah it's not pleasant, especially right before christmas. And not to mention that my daily driver (the bluey) blew the head gasket last week too, so i've got that off the road for another week or two at least. Nadeem has got insurance, but the market value of a VL calais is absolute bullshit, and the payout figure won't even be enough to cover the stereo equipment and my $450 oakley sunnies which i left in the glovebox (i never ever leave them in the car, but of course on this day it was a first for me). Especially given how tidy this one was.

We got to Hyperdome around 11.45am and parked the car on level 1 near bi-lo escalators. Went back at 2.10pm to find the car was gone. So it was stolen anywhere around then. We're still looking into the camera footage to see if we can find the bastards.

Thanks for posting up for us Paul. Most of you qld members know my boyfriend's car, so if anyone knows anything, please let us know ASAP. All i can say is i hope these rotten pricks rot in hell. How anyone can do this kinda thing, especially right before christmas is low, very low.

Spotted white 34 TIN98 driving through Inala Ave this morning around 8am. Haven't seen you round in ages!!! I was in my daily driver - the bluey sss.
